Dark Shadows part 2
When I woke up I was still on top of that store but the thing was, I hit it with so much force that it collapsed so I was laying on rubble. The snake women were gone probably thinking I died so that's a relief. There was also a man there, he was in a wheelchair and had brown curly hair and a brown scraggly beard.
"Wh-who are you?" I asked weakily.
He turned around and looked at me and then he wheeled away leaving me there alone. Once he was gone I got my mom to pick me up since I didn't have a dad. The car ride home was pretty awkward.
"Mom, there were these snake women and they were going after me and almost killed me! What is going on?" I asked scared.
"I can't believe this day has come. When we get home I want you to pack some things and I am going to take you somewhere safe," she explained.
"But what about you? Or my brother and sister?" I asked.
Oh yeah, I did have a stepdad though. That's where older sister came from, then they divorced and my actual dad had me with my mom, then my mom got back together and they had my brother. What a messed up life I live. Now she wanted me to leave all of them.
"It doesn't matter, just listen ok," she was stressed about this.
When we got back I ran into my room. It was black and I paintballed the walls with neon paint that could also glow in the dark. I grabbed a bag and I started filling it with all my clothes. They were mostly dark clothing and stuff so I didn't care a lot. When I finished and grabbed my tooth and hair brush.
"Mom I'm ready," I said.
"Good good good!" she grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door and into the car. The ride was almost silent and it felt like forever from where I lived to get to this "safe place".
"Where are we going?" I asked.
She pulled over at a side of the road and she pulled me into the forest. We walked a dirt trail until we got to this gate thing and I looked at the engraved marks on it. I had ADD and dyslexia and the words seem to morph into the words "Camp Half Blood".
"Go!" my mom shooed.
"Come in with me!" I said with tears filling up my eyes.
"I can't! I'm mortal human!" she replied.
Then she pushed me through and tears rolled down my cheeks.
"I love you,"
"I love you too," she said.
And then she disappeared and I dropped to my knees and began crying.
