"wait, what?!" I asked Angela. "When he was going to the car, one of the ambulances list control and skidded on the ice, and rammed him into a wall. He's unconscious, with a level 3 concussion, three broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder, and a broken ankle. We have him in the ICU, he's not responding, and we think that he went into a coma." I ran out of the room while I pulled my soiled shirt on, before Dr. Sanners pulled me back. "Are you sure that you're prepared?" she asked. I nodded. "Here, let's get you a clean shirt," she said, and reached into a cabinet. She pulled out a pink maternity shirt with "Unless you put this baby in me, or are going to take this baby out of me, no, you can NOT touch my belly!" written on it. I pulled off my shirt and pulls on the other, and sprinted after Angela. She unlocked the ICU, and Dani was standing by his bed. "Levi, please don't die. I need you, Levi. I love you," she grasped his hand in a firm hold. I came up from behind her and hugged her close to me. She cried into my shoulder. "Dont cry, Dani. He'll make it, I'm sure of it. If he really loves you, he'll stay." she nodded, and buried her head even deeper into my shoulder. "I love him so much, I can't live without him," she whispered to me. "I know, sweetie, I know." we stood like that for a while, until she pulled away from me. "He still loves you, you know. He says he doesn't, but he does. He really does," she told me. "Oh, come on Dani. You are the center of his universe. I have Alec, you know that." Angela came over to Levi and hooked his heart up to a monitor. "We have him on life support, we don't know of he's gonna make it." that brought Dani to a new round of tears. "Let's go get some food, OK, Dni? I'm starving, I don't know about you."she nodded, and I took her hand. She led me to the cafeteria, where I got some Saltines and a ginger Ale. She grabbed a tray of cereal, milk, and yoghurt, and a bottle of diet coke. I led her to a table in the back, and sat with her while she munched, and I precariously nibbled my crackers. "Have you been taking your vitamins?" she asked me. I nodded, forgetting that she majored in medicine. "good." we sat in silence for a while. "I'm not supposed to tell anybody, but since you are Levi's girlfriend, you might as well know. The baby's gonna be a girl," I told her. She smiled. "What do you want to name her?" she asked me. I thought about this for a while. "Marina, Rayane, or Felicia. They were my best friends when I was a child in Spain, although Rayane was from Georgia. I like Felicia Rayane the most. what do you think, Dani?" I asked her. "I like Felicia Rayane, also." "Do you know what it means?" she shook her head. "Hapiness." she smiled at the thought. "that suits you quite well. What a wonderful name." as she said this, Alice ran in. "Alec is here. He's lookig for you," she said as she ran over. I stood up, and followed her out to his car. "Hello, Christina Madeleine. I've missed you so," he said honestly, looking into my eyes. "I've missed you, also, my love," I told him. He got out of the car. "Would you like to go for a walk?" he asked me. I nodded, even though the rain poured down in sheets. We walked over to the park across the street, my hand in his. "There is something you must know Alec. I am pregnant," I told him. "I know. Aro told me. It is all right." I smiled, the weight lifting from my shoulders. "But that is not why you are here, is it?" I asked. He shook his head, tossing water everywhere. "I want you to marry me, Christina. I love you, and soon, we shall have a child together. I have waited for many months to ask you." "Yes, yes yes yes yes yes!" I told him, and he pulled me into the sweetest embrace. "Oh, Alec, I love you do much," I promised him, and in that moment, I knew it was true.
