Did Kristen Stewart Ruin New Moon?
okay, so me and my cousin got into a little spat over kristen stewart the other day. i know kinda stupid but she got me mad when she started dissing kristen stewart saying that she can't act, that she doesn't care about her fans and that the only reason she does anything nice is for publicity and that she is a stuck up b****. then she said that she completely ruined new moon. i don't think she did. now no offense to chris weiz or anything but all of kristen's really good performances were on the deleted scenes. now i'm not saying that she didn't do good in the actual film because i do. thats the whole point of this discussion. in your opinion, how do you think kristen did? did she ruin new moon or did she bring bella to us and do a good job?

part of the problem is that in Eclipse also very poignant scenes that were shot we deleted from the final cut of the film. She responds to certain situations in a more contemporary way than how Bells was portrayed in the book. I loved the way she was in Eclipse because she was believable.

I don't think she ruined NEW MOON. I think she stepped up her game compared to Twilight. But the difference in performance I don't think she is to blame, but more she did what the director wanted her to do. Sure she is the actor, but she is not actually the one making decisions on how she should express certain emotions - that is the work of the director so if a scene feels off, I think it is wrong to only blame the actor.
Also I think she did great in new moon, she was so soft and believable and I think the scene in her room with the months passing was EPIC. She was like a ghost and exactly like I imagined her.
As for New Moon, I think the pacing of the entire movie sucked. it was balanced horrible and some of the really important stuff concerning Bella figuring out Victoria is after her was cut so short, that if you blinked you would have missed it.
As for Kristen S personally I think she is very graceful handling herself. She remains true to herself and everytime she isn't miss sunshine with the papz they b**** and moan. But just because she isn't all about bleached teeth and perfectly styled hair and a media trained bland opinions she gets slaughtered for it.
The only thing she needs to watch a bit, in my personal opinion, is getting better at answering a question. sometimes she stutters so much you need to be an autistic to get what she is saying. A few other times she could be a bit more grateful accepting what ever she wins, but I honestly think it is because she is stunned and hasn't got a clue what to say.
I am all for Kristen and I think she is a chameleon as an actor and she has great things coming.

I agree with your comments about the direction of New Moon. I feel that when Kristen wins an award that she is truly grateful, but I think that for some reason she believes herself to be undeserving. I remember when she was in England for the Baftas, all she did prior to praise the other actors that were nominated in her category. She truly believed that one of them deserved the award. I wonder, if she will go to the Baftas to present the award in her category this year. She has a great future ahead of her.

She did a good job in Twilight, she did a great job in New Moon, she was terrific in Eclipse. Don't forget that lines, and scenes are done the way that director instructs the actor. I didn't agree with some of the scenes like the motorcycle drive off with Jacob, but she didn't write the script...blame MR.

Kristen is not the best actress , i admit that, but I just can't stand watching all this. How can some of you tell that she ruined the movie. She was great in panic room, when she was so little. I can't imagine anyone else to be doing Twilight movies....If there wasn't for her Rob would still be little know actor from england, not saying he got the part couse of her. just their chemistry is amazing, and together they are great.
i don't like new moon because edward leaves, but those deleted scenes are breath taking.. her face when jacob says :" what's up with you and age, i mean how old was that cullen guy anyway...." she was good.
in eclipse she was good, very good, maybe the most bella than ever

How could someone think that Kristen ruined New Moon?!?!?! That's impossible!!! I think she did great in Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, and she'll do great in Breaking Dawn also. I have to say that i really really hate people who diss Kristen, it makes me sooooo mad!!! Kristen did great no matter what other people say. Kristen isn't stuck up or bitchy or mean, she's pure sweetness,beauty,kindness,brains, and she's very talented!!!!! I also think she will be a Great Mother to Mackenzie Foy in Breaking Dawn, Lets sum it up to Kristen Did NOT Ruin ANYTHING!!!!!!

No, I dont think she ruined any of the movies. There are some things in the films I do wish were different but it has nothing to do with any of the actors. Its the way they were written. I think they all have done a fantastic job and Love this saga whole heartedly!

OMG, Whats up with everyone dissing Kristen in this discussion ! She's worked too damn hard for anyone to be saying these things. I think she's deoind amazingly well . She was really good in Eclipse, and I don't think that shes going to do badly in Breaking Dawn, let's not forget Bella is technically 18 when she has Renesmee. So she is young, and you may be thinking about the movies but in the movie Kristen will change so much in order to have the love for that daughter. So everyone stop Dissing !

u are right about that when i saw how much they left out i was angry but it still has nothing to do with the acting on her part in newmooni cryed with her i felt her pain in the movie but eclipse i wanted to shake her and say come on kris u cando better then that
