Did Kristen Stewart Ruin New Moon?
okay, so me and my cousin got into a little spat over kristen stewart the other day. i know kinda stupid but she got me mad when she started dissing kristen stewart saying that she can't act, that she doesn't care about her fans and that the only reason she does anything nice is for publicity and that she is a stuck up b****. then she said that she completely ruined new moon. i don't think she did. now no offense to chris weiz or anything but all of kristen's really good performances were on the deleted scenes. now i'm not saying that she didn't do good in the actual film because i do. thats the whole point of this discussion. in your opinion, how do you think kristen did? did she ruin new moon or did she bring bella to us and do a good job?

Kristen didnt ruin New Moon but I do agree that she isnt the best actor. I was very dissappointed when I saw her first performance in Twilight. She looked great for the part, but not the best actor. I think she is gradually gettin better with each film that she is in, but she still doesnt compare to some major actors like Leonardo Dicaprio or Denzel Washington. She can only do certain things because she can only act well in certain things.

She did mess up eclipse and so did d.s that motorcycle scene had me yellin at the screen but like I said many times she was gettin paid to act and that's not wat she did in eclipse now we can go on with this forever but it doesn't change a thing bout her messing eclipse up no way around that sorry ! It is wat it is u can blame who ever u want but every one was paid to do a job and there for it was suppose to be done with the actors ,writters, directors, and the writters screwed up big time all. Though I didn't like some scenes the action scenes where the best but kris in eclipse it wasn't her best

wow. i didn't think this discussion was gonna get this much feedback. i have to say i am impressed that there are people on my side. i personally think she didn't ruin any of the twilight movies. i think it was the director's and the editing that ruined the movie. they took out most of the good performances which i think was very stupid. and i find it funny how a lot of people think kristen either did ruin the movies or sucks as an actress but yet, people still continue to watch the movies and pay continually to see the movies. like in twilight, everyone said the acting sucked but it did so well for a while and got hugely popular. i will admit that new moon was lacking in some scenes but that had NOTHING to do with kristen stewart. and eclipse yeah it was a little slow and some of her scenes were a little blah but she still did an amazing job. and as for her other movies? panic room was a good movie, her performance was great even as young as she was. and speak? i can't even tell you how much of a good job she did. to have to go to that mind set as a thirteen year old is pretty amazing. and lets not forget her performance in the runaways THAT was a good performance. not once did i see her as bella swan, i saw kristen as joan jett. kristen BECAME joan jett in that movie. and lets also not forget her role in welcome to the rileys. even though it wasn't shown in a lot of movie theaters, she got good reviews for her acting in that move and i'm sure once that movie hits the stores once its out on dvd a lot of people will buy it and praise her for that role, i can't wait to see that movie.

-you give her credit for dealing with the blockbuster franchise? she chose to be an actress. everyone knows what that comes with. she has many fans and she should be a better role model. and honestly anyone can change their face expression very fast. not to impressing. just saying

One particular scene comes to mind that forever impresses me of her acting abilities: just after the birthday party fiasco, when Bella pulls up to her house after school, and she hasn't seen Edward for days, she gets out of the truck...and watch Kristen's face change very, VERY subtly from relief that Bella finally sees Edward there waiting for her in the yard, to puzzlement then concern because Bella senses something's not right, to wariness because Bella knows some s**t may be about to hit the fan. I've never seen an actress pull off such remarkable changes on her face in such quick succession. UH-mazing! So huge gold stars for Kristen in New Moon.
I think sometimes we forget just how challenging it may be for actors to be able to convey a bestselling novel on the big screen. Ever try acting out one of these New Moon scenes yourself?? ;)

She is most definitely not stuck up. I have seen her go out way out of her way for fans. I don't get why some people are negative towards her. Not once have I heard saying anything evil about her costars, or her fans.
I thought that she brought Bella to us. It was a book that was wonderful to read but I think that it was difficult to put to film. She did great!

I would like to emphasize something you said..
She knows nothing about our Kristen to say those hateful things!I lol do you know how creepy that is? our kristen.. she isn't yours, she does not belong to you. she doesnt even know you exist. other people haves opinions about her acting. I for one thinks that she ruined new moon. get over it.
