Did Kristen Stewart Ruin New Moon?
okay, so me and my cousin got into a little spat over kristen stewart the other day. i know kinda stupid but she got me mad when she started dissing kristen stewart saying that she can't act, that she doesn't care about her fans and that the only reason she does anything nice is for publicity and that she is a stuck up b****. then she said that she completely ruined new moon. i don't think she did. now no offense to chris weiz or anything but all of kristen's really good performances were on the deleted scenes. now i'm not saying that she didn't do good in the actual film because i do. thats the whole point of this discussion. in your opinion, how do you think kristen did? did she ruin new moon or did she bring bella to us and do a good job?

to me kristen did okay in twilight , new moon she did better , eclipse best acting in the saga she stood out well , lets c wat breaking dawn brings

Kristen's acting got better and better in each movie. She was fair in Twilight, better in New Moon and the perfect Bella in Eclipse. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn!

I don't think that Kristen has ruined any movie that she has been in and I have seen all of them. She is only getting better each time.

Although I think Kristen Stewart's acting leaves a lot to be desired but I don't think she ruined the movies, I think the writers ruined them. NM and Eclipse lost the Twilight's (1st movie) essence of Edward and Bella's love for each other. In the writers attempt to add angst and drama they lost the entire feel for this couple. They tried too hard to interject a love relationship between Bella and Jacob it took away from that solid connection Edward and Bella felt with each other in the books. I enjoyed the movies, but they will never compare to the passion and intensity of what Stephanie Myers put into those books. From the first book to the last you knew that Bella was never confused about her love for Edward, she even told Jacob that she loved him like a brother. Also what they did with Eclipse was unbelievable, it took away from Edward's coolness/reserve and integrity and made him look like a jealous teenager, but the books described him as keeping his cool in all situations, and he always put Bella's safety and feelings before his.
This saga in the book form is EPIC, in movie form it's just another movie.

I loved newmoon to me it was most close to the book then twilight or eclipse but I agree the writing sucks 100 % I hope that steph didn't let them mess this one up! Let's prey

She is too indecisive and mopey and it ruined the movie. Without the sexiness of Jacob the movie would be nothing.

She's suppose to be mopey in the movie, New Moon is the darkest part of Bella's life because Edward left her, I think Kristen did a good job in New Moon, honestly I think it's the writer's fault that New Moon wasn't as good as it could have been and whoever did the editing should never have cut out the part when Charlie carries Bella into her room after Sam found her in the woods, In that scene it showed how much it affected her. It's not Kristen's fault that New Moon wasn't as good.

I think she did a good job. i'll tell you what messed up New Moon for me, is they didn't build Bella & Jacob's relationship strong enough. I don't think they did justice to their relationship and love for each other.
But yes, Kristen did a fine job. your friend is just jealous. :)
