Did Kristen Stewart Ruin New Moon?
okay, so me and my cousin got into a little spat over kristen stewart the other day. i know kinda stupid but she got me mad when she started dissing kristen stewart saying that she can't act, that she doesn't care about her fans and that the only reason she does anything nice is for publicity and that she is a stuck up b****. then she said that she completely ruined new moon. i don't think she did. now no offense to chris weiz or anything but all of kristen's really good performances were on the deleted scenes. now i'm not saying that she didn't do good in the actual film because i do. thats the whole point of this discussion. in your opinion, how do you think kristen did? did she ruin new moon or did she bring bella to us and do a good job?

First of all i appreciat e Miss stewart signing autographs and all that and also she is a good actresses outside twilight movies.She was very flat in new moon because after edward rern she is supposed to be happy again but stewart has the same expressionthroughout.there is no difference between happy Bella and moorose Bella.I would have said it would be the directors fault but everyones acting improved from twilight from new moon to eclipse but she remained the same

Kristen has done a fine job portraying Bella. She is very much embodies the character thatI found in the books. What I think limited New Moon was the editing. Kristen reacted to things that happened in the book but not in the film. I really get that entire scenes were shot but where either chopped apart or cut. It is almost like that scene had five parts and we get to see her reaction in part 2 and 3 but don't figure out what happened to cause her to react that way. I know that they can't include everything but it's almost like they actually shot the entire scenes and then deleted them instead of writing the script and editing the film so that the scenes flowed better.

I dont think she ruined ANYTHING i cant think of a better person they could have choose to play bella kristen stewart did great in all three movies and i cant wait to see breaking dawn!!!!!!!!!:)

Bella was supposed to be in a deep depression! As far as being indecisive that couldn't be further from the truth. As soon as she was confronted with the fact that Edward was in danger, she rushed to save him. She was indecisive towards Jacob because Bella needed and wanted the friendship but her love for him wasn't the same as for Edwards. Kristen had Bella's reactions spot on.

I agree Kristen did not ruin anything in New Moon. Of all of the books this one was the hardest to translate onto film. I also think that some of the best scenes were drastically changed or completely excluded from the film. The trip back home from Italy with Edward was so romantic yet it was almost eliminated from the film. For me Kristen completely embodied Bella. I can't wait to see Breaking Dawn.

Nope sorry, you are wrong on two things in this post. One Kristen did not do a fine job, she sucked! And second of all, I am not jealous. There isn't anything to be jealous of, thanks for your opinion though :)

I feel like Bella was suppose to be be really hurt and depressed and I am sorry but Kristen did not and could not portray that hurt onto the screen. Bella in the book was able to show all of the hurt through her "depression," Kristen did not! She is just a failure!! (:
