Did Kristen Stewart Ruin New Moon?
okay, so me and my cousin got into a little spat over kristen stewart the other day. i know kinda stupid but she got me mad when she started dissing kristen stewart saying that she can't act, that she doesn't care about her fans and that the only reason she does anything nice is for publicity and that she is a stuck up b****. then she said that she completely ruined new moon. i don't think she did. now no offense to chris weiz or anything but all of kristen's really good performances were on the deleted scenes. now i'm not saying that she didn't do good in the actual film because i do. thats the whole point of this discussion. in your opinion, how do you think kristen did? did she ruin new moon or did she bring bella to us and do a good job?

Hey people cool off, I thought this was about our individual opinions. Trying to make people agree with your opinion doesn't make any sense. So what if I or others don't think Kristen Stewart is a great actress, she's okay but not great, but that's our opinion. I understand there are die hard Stewart fans out there but chill out and let's agree to disagree this is a democracy you know. My favorite was the first Twilight, it was fresh, innocent, and you could really get the essence of Edward and Bella's love for each other, this was closer to the books than the other two. Now, when New Moon and Eclispe came along and they tried to add the third person (Jacob) and in their efforts to make a triangle they blew it, it then lost what the books projected between Edward and Bella. Bella in the books is a very, very strong young women, she knows what she wants and from the very beginning when she said she was ready to be with Edward forever she meant it. The other movies lost all of that, and made it appear that Bella was fickled and didn't know what she wanted, that was not the case in the books.

I think it was ok not as good as the first but still good, it was lack of action that made it okay.the acting was good on robs and Kris,s part .

Well, no offense, but Kristen can act - and I'm not saying that in a biased way because she's in the Twilight Saga. Has your cousin ever seen Kristen in Speak, The Messengers? Or The Runaways, or even Adventureland? Tell her she needs to see more work of Kristen's to actually confirm an opinion of her acting. One movie doesn't reflect the entire career.
She can't say she doesn't care about the fans, either. Is she in Kristen's mind 24/7 to know that? People get stressed out to the point where it seems that they care about nothing - wouldn't your cousin be stressed to have a mob of rowdy fangirls chasing her? Most likely. Kristen didn't ruin New Moon, Bella is described to act and be like that. It's not a matter of writing or acting abilities! And to be honest if your cousin thinks she can do a much better job and handle the heaps of stress, tell her to go to Hollywood or something. Tell her to follow the path she's apparently better at than a professional actress. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, just saying it takes a lot of work to even be in a minor film, muchless a major film saga.

Nope, My cousin is an annoying twat who thinks she's knows everything and wont take the time to see any of her other movies because she's stuck up.

Kristen also did a great job in Welcome to the Rileys. It's a totally different character from Bella. My friend who hated Kristen saw the film and called me to say that she "stands corrected". Kristen can not only act but she is beautiful. Since then she has also seen the Yellow Handkerchief, the Runaways and a lot of Kristen's other films and now is a fan.
As far as Kristen not caring for fans. I have a lot of friends that have wonderful, pleasant interactions with Kristen. Unfortunately, there are times when people can be scary. In spite of the fact that a person is famous doesn't mean that they have to give up their personal lives.

I know! I have Welcome to the Rileys on DVD and when I saw that movie for the first time. I was blown away. I thought "How does she not have an Oscar yet?"
Yes, I would imagine that some fans do get out of hand and that can be very scary. I saw one video where these two fans were kind of chasing after her and Kristen's body guard was escorting her away and one of the fans were crying and near hyperventilating and the other fan was like "Kristen she loves you so much" and Kristen kind of stood there for a second, not knowing what to do before her body guard pulled her away.

I have seen kristen in the other movies that she has played in and, to me, she is a wonderful actress. The older she gets and the more films she is in, the more i see her acting skills growing. @The Mockingjay, i totally agree and cud not have said it better myself!!!!!!!
