Did Kristen Stewart Ruin New Moon?
okay, so me and my cousin got into a little spat over kristen stewart the other day. i know kinda stupid but she got me mad when she started dissing kristen stewart saying that she can't act, that she doesn't care about her fans and that the only reason she does anything nice is for publicity and that she is a stuck up b****. then she said that she completely ruined new moon. i don't think she did. now no offense to chris weiz or anything but all of kristen's really good performances were on the deleted scenes. now i'm not saying that she didn't do good in the actual film because i do. thats the whole point of this discussion. in your opinion, how do you think kristen did? did she ruin new moon or did she bring bella to us and do a good job?

First of all, on what info or experience does your cousin base her opinion that Kristen is stuck up and doesn't care about her fans? I've seen her stay outdoors and sign autographs until her arm probably feels like it wants to fall off, and she's been nothing but nice to each fan while they shove everything under the sun at her to sign. Granted, Kristen has her bad days, just like we all do, and she's not the most relaxed person when it comes to interviews, but she keeps at it. I give her lots of credit for putting up with paparazzi and fans and just the whole craziness that comes with a blockbuster franchise.
As for New Moon, Kristen Stewart did an amazing job as Bella, so I do NOT think she 'ruined' NM, not by a long shot. One particular scene comes to mind that forever impresses me of her acting abilities: just after the birthday party fiasco, when Bella pulls up to her house after school, and she hasn't seen Edward for days, she gets out of the truck...and watch Kristen's face change very, VERY subtly from relief that Bella finally sees Edward there waiting for her in the yard, to puzzlement then concern because Bella senses something's not right, to wariness because Bella knows some s**t may be about to hit the fan. I've never seen an actress pull off such remarkable changes on her face in such quick succession. UH-mazing! So huge gold stars for Kristen in New Moon.
I think sometimes we forget just how challenging it may be for actors to be able to convey a bestselling novel on the big screen. Ever try acting out one of these New Moon scenes yourself?? ;)

Kristen did not ruin Twilight, New Moon or Eclipse. I do feel that the editing in New Moon cut off some scenes which at times did not let the film flow and that they left out scenes that were important. But as far as Kristen goes she is very talented.
She is most definitely not stuck up. I have seen her go out way out of her way for fans. I don't get why some people are negative towards her. Not once have I heard saying anything evil about her costars, or her fans.
I thought that she brought Bella to us. It was a book that was wonderful to read but I think that it was difficult to put to film. She did great!

She definatly DID NOT ruin new moon!no offence,but what is wrong with your cousin?!that REALLY p***** me off.that was a really ignorant comment to say!She knows nothing about our Kristen to say those hateful things!I think Kristen was one of the best things about new moon.Her acting performance as bella was incredible as it always is.She really portrayed the hurt and sadness that bella was supposed to be going through.I agree with @Bella Black about that scene in particular that she is talking about.She portrays the perfect bella,in my opinion.For people to say that is ABSOLUTLY DISPICABLE!Pffft!

Think about it guys she had no emotion in eclipse none what's so ever I love her in twilight ,and newmoon but eclipse I felf nothing the other actors were great however rob I felt for and really felt taylors part but khris nothing she really pissed me and my husband off lol not trying to be mean just tellin it like it is sorry u guys do agree

she has not ruined ANYTHING!!!! its the stupid screen writer that ruins it. and i really dont like when people base there opinions of Kristens acting skills on twilight, its not her best ill admit that, but people should go watch cake eaters, speak, WTTR, adventureland, panic room and all her other films and THEN judge her, if it was up to me Kristen would get an Oscar for her performance in WTTR, and not just because i love her so much but because she deserves it.
as for her not caring about her fans im not even going to comment on that, thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard!
and the she only does anything nice for puplicity? the hell she does!

Kristen did not ruin twilight, new moon, or eclipse. She is a great actress and I hate it when people say she can't act just because she is in twilight or just because they saw her in twilight.

Ok 1st of all u need to calm down 2nd I didn't based anything on her actin I actuly. Like her and I said that the writtin sucked m.r. Messed everything up especially eclipse but u have to just face facts kris had no emotion in eclipse now that's. That the writter write's that all she does its up to the actors to make the part work but u kno what I'm not goin to go into a big thing bout it but it. Is wat it is
