When I Saw You

(Edward's take on seeing Bella, for the first time)
It was difficult
When I saw you
Your mouthwatering scent
Too good to be true
Self restraint
Breaking the table
I knew I could break you
I was fully able
But then I heard
Carlisle in my head
I couldn't kill you
The monster would go unfed
I tried to run away
From you and your scent
But you drew me in
Made my dead heart dent
You didn't run
When I told you
You stayed and you loved
My own for you grew
I never knew I could feel this way
I know it sounds corny
Perhaps even cliché
But it's true and I'm glad
That I found you
Our souls and hearts
Mixed together anew

Awww:). That's so sweet. Thank you for sharing this, great work. Edward and Bella are so special to me and I love reading things that are dedicated to them. It makes me know that they are important to other people too. That other people appreciate them.
