How do you feel about Paramore's comment "We're not the 'Twilight' House Band"?
I love the songs that Paramore contributed to the Twilight Soundtrack, as many of us do... But Paramore has said in a recent MTV interview, "Yeah, we're not the 'Twilight' house band ... just making that statement now," ... and also that they will not be making any songs for New Moon...

I'm just bummed but I think its a good move on her part... paramore would be known as the Twilight band and I think that is something they are trying to avoid. They did a great job for Twilight... maybe they'll reconsider for Eclipse or something.

I kinda agree with you on this one.... The way their career was heading, and then we were so happy that they were on the Twilight Soundtrack.... I think this boosted their career to another level, but to be "labled" with just one thing, such as "The Twilight Band" could halt them from moving forward... But I'm bummed about it too :(

I would love the fact that they would do another song! But I see it as a smart move from Haley.. they could decide to get sucked into the Twilight fad... and risk being labeled as the twilight band.. or just have a good career bost from it.. I see the point.. but damn.. I just really really wish they would do one more good song for the series!

I think that it is good for them i mean they dont want to be labled as the twilight house band it could make there career go bad, but man i really wanted them to do another song for new moon but i understand there point of view and where there coming from but it's kind of a bummer :) maybe next time

I think it was a good move for them. They're artists and they have a lot of really good songs that have nothing to do with Twilight. I admit that I hadn't heard of them until Twilight. (I'm kind of a musical idiot, though I'm improving) So I'm grateful for all they did for Twilight and all Twilight did for them. I'm disappointed that we won't get to hear them on New Moon, but I can understand them not wanting such a close association.

I think they said that cuse they didn't won the MTV Movie Award for best song... they got all like: they won everything except this... so they werent giving that much of attention to the song...
We don't have the fault that that Disney Princess could get that many votes....
My opinion... I still love them as a band though.

wonder what changed that they want to distance themselves from twilight when its been the biggest recognising factor for them so far? Or am I wrong? Didnt Hayley sit down and play decode for catherine hardwicke? I know that they dont want to be stereotyped but if it was me I would be so proud of the face that Im on that soundtrack forever? Talk about immortal!

I think it was rude of them to say that maybe if they would have said something else that sounded nicer... But I do L-O-V-E that band && their songs!
