Is Bella a good role model?
I have always looked up to Bella Swan as a selfless person and someone I could idolize. However, after my long-time boyfriend (which will go nameless) broke up with me, I was heartbroken. I cried day and night. I couldn't help but ask myself, how did Bella do it? So, I just stopped showing emotion in school. I'd rather be blank than cry anyway. But then one day, my closest friend told me that she missed the old me. That hurt. And she said that when I'm sad, it makes her sad. That got me thinking. This is really selfish of me. I should really be thinking about those around me. takin pity on myself is pointless. He's not coming back.
So, is Bella a good role model? She displays strength sometimes. But she should've been thinking about her father, too. She was really putting him through hell. I gotta think about others around me. The world shouldnt take pity on me because I lost my one reason to wake up every morning. Bella was kinda selfish in New Moon for doing that to Charlie and others around her. Correct me if you think I'm wrong!

may be you have a good point ..we shouldnt have to make people suffer with us..but also when some one broke your heart , this is not an easy thing..people different from each other..there are people who can try to move on again ..take a short time dealing with everything and there are people not...bella loved him soo much..she put in her mind that may be in the future she will become one of them..try to change his mind ..she convinced her self with that..suddenly , everything disappeared..he is not just broke up with her but also he told her that he is not in love with her anymore..if something like this happen to me , i dont know wht will happen but iam sure i will take along time...and if u read newmoon again , she always thinking about charlie ..wht she is doing to him..but she cant help her self..we must understand wht she is going through..and from my opinion , love is always irrational...

You're right. I understand now. Why Bella behaved so is because she cares for Edward so much. We all have different ways of...coping. I just hate to see others suffer along with me. :'(

Bella is a fictional character in a fantasy world, I don't think she is or should be a role model, but be just who she was meant to be. Bella.

You have a really good opinion Bella. (or whatever your real name is) I think that you made a really good discovery. I don't think you should try to be like Bella Swan. I think you should try to be yourself. Oh, and btw, Screw your ex if he dumped you, he doesn't know what he's missing. <3
