I woke up the next morning feeling good about today. I went downstairs to get some breakfast, then took a shower and got dressed. Kristen did say dress comfortably so i put on a pair of black skinny jeans, a purple shirt and my black and purple Vans. When i left my room, i heard light snoring and mumbling in Alex's room. I went into his room and saw Alex sleeping.
"Alex wake up," i yelled.
He jumped out of bed falling to the floor. I busted out laughing.
"God Tiffany. What," he said groggily and a little irritated.
"Do you want to hang out with Kristen and her friends or not?"
"Ok,ok. I'll get ready."
I walked out the room and went downstaris to watch tv. A couple minutes later i realize mom's not home. I went to the phone and called her cell phone. She picked up after three rings.
"Hello?"
"Hey mom. Where'd you go?"
"I'm out finding a job."
"Oh really. Any luck?"
"Nope not yet. Pray for me."
We chuckled together.
"Ok mom. But i calling to tell you that we're leaving soon."
"Ok. Have fun. Bye."
"Bye."
We hung up and shortly after the doorbell rang. I opened the door and it was Kristen.
"Hey," she said,"You ready?"
"Yea but we got to wait for my Alex. C'mon in."
We sat down on the couch just flipping through channels until Alex came down. When i saw what he was wearing i was thinking now we look like twins. He was wearing a puple shirt but a diffrent shade, black jeans and his purple Vans.
"I'm ready. Let's go," he said still sounding a little tired.
Then he paused and looked at me.
"You've got to be kidding," he said.
Kristen started laughing. Me and Alex sighed and rolled our eyes at the same time. Kristen laughed even harder. Damn twin synchronization things.
"C'mon. Let's go," Kristen said between laughs.
We left the house and got in the car. When we started going down the road i was getting nervous about meeting her friends. It surprised me when we parked in a parking space next to tree waving people. we got out the car and stood next to the people. It was a girl and two boys. The girl had dark brown hair to her shoulders, a teensy bit pale skin, greenis broenish eyes and she was short. One of the boys looks like he could be the girl's brother a little bit. He has messy looking bronze coloured hair, green eyes, same colour skin like the girl and he was tall. The other bot was my skin colour, maybe a little lighter, has hazel brown eyes, brown hair, styled a little spiky in some places and he was tall too. While Kristen was saying hi to everyone, i kept glimpsing at the tan boy. He was a good looking boy to me. He saw me looking at him and smiled at me. I smiled back and looked away quickly.
"Ok. Tiffany, Alex this is Ashley," Kristen said pointing to the girl,"Rob and Taylor," she said pointing to the pale looking boy then the tan one.
"Hey," me and Alex said.
"Oh my gosh you guys are twins," Ashley said,"That's so cool and unique. The first twins in Forks."
"Wow that's cool," i said.
"So how old are you guys," Taylor asked looking at me and then looking at Alex.
"16," me and Alex said.
"Do you guys do that a lot," Rob asked, smiling, about our twin synchronization.
"Yea," we said together again.
We all laughed.
"C'mon let's go sit in the sand and chill out," Ashley said.
We followed Ashley and sa down on the sand. Kristen sat next to Ashley. Alex sat next to(or at least tried to) sit next to Kristen. After a couple minutes, Alex ened up talking to Rob. And i was sitting next to Taylor.
"So tell me about yourself and i'll tell you about me," Taylor said.
"Ok. Where do i start..."
So i started telling him about where i came from, about my mom, about Alex and my interests.
"Oh cool. Maybe we shold hike together," he said.
"But the problem is that i'm clumsy. I might hold you up from me falling amd tripping everywhere."
"That's ok. I'll help you when you hurt yourself in anyway."
He smiled and to me it was a pretty smile. It practically took my breath away.
"So i'll tell you about me," Taylor said.
He told me that he's 17, a junior this year, he lives around in the reservation and his interests.
"Cool," i said.
I looked up at the sky and it was a pinkish purple haze and the cloulds was orange.
"Pretty isn't it," Taylor asked.
"Yea. I haven't seen the sky like this since i was little."
"Well i guess today is your lucky day."
I looked at him and smiled. He was looking at the sky and the way his face looked made my heart beat faster.
"Hey," Taylor said after he was finished looking at the sky,"Let's go to my house to hang out some more."
"Ok," me and everyone else said.
We got up and headed towards his house. We got there and it was pretty small but cozy looking on the inside.
"Taylor," Alex said,"Do you got any scary movies."
"Yea i got a couple."
"Cool pop one in."
Me, Alex, Rob, Ashley and Kristen got settled while Taylor put in The Grudge. Taylor sat down next to me on the couch with Rob. Alex sat on the floor in between Ashley and Kristen. I've seen this movie a million times but it stillscares me. The movie started and i put my knees up and hugged them to my chest. Taylor saw me and said "Are you scared?"
"Yea. A little."
He chuckled and i chuckled with him. There was this one part that scared Kristen. She jumped and started whimpering in Alex's chest. I bet he's happy. Then a part came up that scared me. I shreiked and burried my face in Taylor's chest absentmindedly. He laughed, along with everyone else, and put his arm around me to calm me down. I kept my face in his chest for half the movie. Then i looked up and the credit's were rolling. I sighed a sigh of relief.
"Are you ok now," Taylor asked smiling.
"Yep now that the movie's over."
Then i noticed his arm was still around me. I shrugged out of it and then he moved his arm. We then started talking after the movie. I was getting sleepy so i rested my head on the back of the couch. No one seemed to notice i was tired so i yawned and was slipping into unconciousness. Finally i fell asleep, droning out the talking with my light breathing.
