I woke up, laying on Taylor, on Taylor's couch. I got up quickly, feeling embarrased about laying on Taylor, and looked around. Kristen and Alex were laying close together on the floor. I saw Alex was awake smiling.
"Get up," i whispered.
"Fine."
He got up and woke up Kristen and Taylor. That's when i realizied Ashley and Rob weren't here. But i was more worried about mom.
"We are in so much trouble," i said.
"Oh crap. I forgot about about mom," Alex said.
"Don't worry," Kristen said,"I called your mom saying that we're having a sleepover."
"Thanks Kristen," i said.
"C'mon let's get you home," she said.
"Ok."
Kristen and Alex walked out the door and i was getting my shoes on when Taylor wanted to talk to me.
"Hey. Since you like hiking, do you want to hike with me later on today?"
"Ummm...sure. What time?"
"I'll pick you up at around 1:00pm. You live next to Kristen don't you?"
"Yea."
"Ok. See you later."
"See ya."
I left and headed towards Kristen's car. When i got in the car i was smiling.
"What happened," Kristen asked.
"Nothing really," i said still smiling.
"Ok."
And we went to my house. Kristen dropped us off at my house and waved good bye while going to her house.
"That was fun," Alex said when we got in the house.
"Yea it was," i said,"I wonder where mom is."
Me and Alex went upstairs and peeked in mom's room. There she was sleeping. We walked away and went to our rooms. I went to my room and saw the clock that said 11:40am. I changed into clothes that were already messed up. I put on faded jeans, an old white shirt, and some hiking shoes mom got me. I put my hair in a ponytail and sat down on my bed and listened to music. I looked at the clock later on and it said 12:55pm. I went to Alex's room and told him that i was going hiking with Taylor.
"You like him don't you," he asked.
"He's ok," i confessed.
"Alright. Just don't fall to hard for him to fast."
"Ok Alex."
I heard a car honk when i went downstairs and i opened the door. It was Taylor. I smiled when i reached him and said hey.
"Hey," he said,"You ready?"
"Yea."
I got in the car and he drove down to La Push. We talked and taked until we reached our destanation.
"We can hike here," he said pointing to a trail to the right of us.
"Alright. Let's do it."
We started walking and talking along the way. We then were quiet for a couple minutes. I was thinking about when Alex said don't fall to hard to fast. It's happened maybe once or twice. Ever sicne then i've been careful about boys. All of a sudden i trip over something and fall towards the ground.
"Owww shoot," i said.
Taylor came back towards me and said "Are you ok?'
I got up and looked at my arm. There was a slightly deep cut and a big enough scrape to produce a lot of blood.
"I told you i was clumsy," i said trying to lighten up the mood.
He laughed and said "Here."
He then took off his shirt and wrapped it around my wound. When i looked up from my arm and saw Taylor i gasped.
"What," he asked.
"Nothing," i hesitated and looked away.
But i kept looking out of the corner of my eye. He was perfect. His skin, his mucsles carved into his gorgeuos skin. It made my head spin alittle and put butterflies in my stomach.
"Ok," Taylor said,"The bleeding should stop. You wanna keep going?"
"Yea but you don't have a shirt."
"I'm fine. C'mon."
So we started walking and talking again. I had to look at his eyes to concentrate. Don't fall to hard Tiffany, don't fall to hard. We made a wide cirlce and ended up back at the car. When we were in front of the car taylor said "Can i ask you something?"
"Sure."
He contemplated for a second and then sighed.
"Never mind," he said.
And he got in the car and so did i. Now i'm going to be curious on what he wabted to ask me.
