Midnight Sun, part II
Hi everyone,
I'm kind of new to Twilight and have never posted anything before, but I found something you might be interested in. A writer (a real one) has actually finished Midnight Sun, all 12 chapters and an epilogue. It's really excellent. If you want to see it, it's at:

The honeymoon scenes from Breaking Dawn are there too, but they're not quite done. (for "mature" readers.)
I was really excited to read it after all this time. What do you think?

Well 12 chapters are the ones that SM has posted on he website. And if it's another "writer" it's obviously NOT SM and it wouldn't be published. Sorry but I think it's someone just trying to get attention. I won't read it. (I already read the 12 chapters SM has on her website.

Sorry, I probably should have been clearer. The writing STARTs at the second half of Chapter 12 and goes to Chapter 24, plus an Epilogue. The story takes up where Stephenie left off. It's kind of nice to see it since, sadly, it doesn't look like SM is going to ever finish the book. (Emmett is especially funny in this story, BTW.) JanieJ

This is really just a piece of fanfiction. No professional writer would do this, as they would likely be sued. And who's going to get Edward exactly right apart from Stephenie, anyway?
I'd rather wait until SM's version comes out (whenever that is) and take it straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. No one else is going to get it right

I actually went and read it, along with the Breaking Dawn chapters (which are also fantastic!)

One of the best fanfics for Midnight Sun is called CONTINUATION OF MIDNIGHT SUN by Kiva Johns Adkins on Fanfiction.net. Truly great!!!

~Thanx @Janiel for this post: I read PAL's FF versions and they were great, in fact I've read other FF stories and they are all good each in their own way/writing.
I agree with both @Bree & @ Sara Cullen: People really do need to just chill, you're given the option to read it or not, just don't slam stuff you are not familiar with.
Do I want SM to finish MS one day??...Oh Hale YES!!! I'd LUV 4 SM to continue BD with a book about the lives of Jacob & Renesmee & their extended family (happy ending). But until then, I see nothing wrong with writer's creating their own FF continuations, etc. IN FACT SM SAID IT HERSELF THAT SHE ENCOURAGES YOUNG/BEGINNER WRITERS TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES - YES, SM herself actually backs up FF!! So I say the more the merrier, that's what makes the writing world & their readers 'go round'
