I ran into the living room.

"She broke a rib. The fetus is getting stronger," Carlisle explained.

"The what and the what?!" I yelled.

"I don't want Haley in here for this," Carlisle said.

Emmett and Jacob pulled me out of the room. I struggled to see what was happening. They gave Bella fluids that she is rejecting. They brought me into my room. They sat me down on my bed.

"I know this is hard for you but with bella's going to die or the baby. And maybe even both," Jacob said.

His face was grief stricken. Emmett stayed strong though. I rested my head on his shoulder. Right when he did I pushed him and bolted up the stairs. I gasped. Bella was really weak and her stomach was huge. They hooked up an EKG. I sat by her side and prayed. Then there was another snap. She yelled and Carlisle helped her again. I hid under the bed.

"Her body is rejecting everything Edward," Carlisle said.

"No we are not doing it!" Edward shouted.

Carlisle put his hand on Edward's shoulder.

"Edward we are going to have to give her blood," Carlisle stated.

Carlisle came in with a cup. Bella's hands shook as she took a sip. Right then her color began to come back. She smiled. Another rib cracked. She yelled again. I realized that this baby was getting way too big and something bad is going to happen. Then Edward gasped.

"What is it Edward?" Carlisle and Bella asked.
