There I was, laying in yet another dumb hospital bed. Benefits, the hot British nurses mmhmmm....yes I like that very much. With the passion of a thousand suns!!! I had to Skype Simon and the boys because we had to discuss our song for week one and all that planning shite. Due to the theme, we chose Viva La Vida by Coldplay. Also, when I was in the hospital, they did their first video diary without me. I don't mind though, I'd rather be healthy and alive, then very sick in front of many people on the Internet. I couldn't leave until that afternoon. I had round one of chemo yesterday under sedation and today is round two. 

"Guess who?!" I heard.

The voice was familiar, was it really him?!? Oh my god!!! He listened to my tweets to him! It was Dave!!! 

"Dave!!!" I smiled.

"Yes it is I, Dave the biscuit. Today will probably end in tears, mine of course, but like I said, I am Dave the biscuit, so I'll be alright," he joked.

"Nice one," I laughed. 

He sat down on the bed beside me, jumping about for a moment. 

"So Kittykat, you have to stay in here ALL the time?" he asked.

"Well my chemo lasts for two days, so not all the time," 

"It's actually not that bad. You try going to a pretty much all girl's school for being stage crew in their plays. All of which require tights,"

"That sounds horrible!"

"I know!! Anyway, tell me some American terms,"

"Well...there's chips and French fries...and there's others," I tried to think.

He laughed.

"What are knickers in America?"

"Panties???? Knickers are kinda like shorts right?"

"Pants!! I shall call your silly little panty term pants for short!" 

I laughed and he smiled brightly. I never realized how fun it was having someone pretty much in your age group that's a guy as a friend. Most of the time it's awkward for girls to hang out with guys, but I never really cared. Heck, I thought it was a lot of fun. 

"Pants! The hills are alive with the sound of pants! For I've been wearing pants for thousands of years!" we sang.
