The Shifters Guide-Three-My Explanation.
He reached out and put a firm hand onto my small shoulder. 'Honey, we have to go to America. Youre not safe here. Now get it the car.' More confused as ever I hoped into the car and we were off. Looking back I could see my mother standing outside bailing her eyes out. I hated leaving her. It just wasn't fair.
That was three years ago now. Instead of being a puniy ten year old, I am now a 13 going on 14 young adult. When we first arrived in America and my father sat me down and told me why I was so different to the other kids at school.......... You see when I was born I grew firey red and yellow hair. I had light purple eyes and I was sun kissed coloured. As I grew up I was different in a lot of ways. I was faster and stronger than all the other kids. I was brilliant at gymnastics and swimming. I thought I was just gifted. But now I know I'm very different to any other family in this world. I'm a shifter.
A shifter is a person who, whenever they want, can shift into any animal you can think of. My father is a shifter, my mother isn't. All my fathers side are shifters. They are the only ones in the world. Well that's what they think. Mother found out that he was a shifter and divorced him straight away. She didn't want to have anything to do with someone like that. Father didn't want to leave her because of the danger, But she threatened to show the world our serect so father fleed us both to America. Away from her. Shifters start devolping at the age of eleven and finish growing completely when they are 14. Once you turn 14 you can start shifting. I'm turning 14 in 2 months, the 22nd of August

I've always had those crazy dreams about being one of those. Like no joke I always wanted to be one and stuff and it was an interesting concept.

Yeah I still do have them sometimes. I've had those dreams since I was like 7. It's a fascinating concept.
