Seriously. I love True Blood alot more than Twilight. True Blood is more me than Twilight. Don't get me wrong I like Twilight too. The stories of True Blood and Twilight are as different as night and day. Twilight is basically a romance story and what girl doesn't like a good romance story? True Blood has a bit of romance in it as well along with the hot steamy scenes. There is a reason this show is on a pay channel. One thing that seriously irritates me about Twilight is that, everyone even Stephenie Meyer, refers to Jacob as a Werewolf. Seriously if you think Jacob is a where wolf re read the series ok? What Jacob is is later defined in the later books. Jacob is not a werewolf but a Shape Shifter. Which goes along with True Blood. There are few Weres but alot of shifters. Weres in the True Blood series do not like to have shifters refered to as weres. Kinda like Harry Potter and the  Mudbloods VS the Pure Bloods. The didn't like having a mudblood refered to as a witch or wizard because the only true witch or wizard was a pure blood. See the similarities? It also irritates me that people say that True Blood rips off Twilight. TOTALLY

WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!! Charlaine Harris started writing the True Blood way before Stephenie Meyer ever dreamed about a sparkling vampire. Actually, both of those were prefaced by the Anita Blake Vampire Novels written by Laurell K. Hamilton that talks also about Weres and Shifters and alot of different stuff aside of that. That is a good series really good that actually has alot in it that is reflected in True Blood. Do I like this series? Yes. Do I like it better than True Blood? No! Why? There is no real answer to that question just that I like it better. I have read lots of vamp stuff The house of night series the vampire Academy series, the thist series, the twilight series and I have more on my wishlist. I have loved vampires since I was about ten years old. I am 32 now with no hope of ever changing. In short the different novels are good or the best to people because of who they are and what they like. Why bash eachother? We are all just the same and just as different as each of these vampire series. Don't say which is the best you'll just make someone mad and offended and start a fight. We all like our own things in our own ways its not wrong it's just us expressing our individuality. Personally I like True Blood the best but that's just me. Kudos to who loves Twilight more. Don't follow it because people tell you to. Make up your own mind as to what is your favorite and follow it. We are all right in our own way.
