Twilight's Meadow scene: Why did Edward sing to himself?

While reading the famous Meadow scene of Twilight, I am always intrigued by these little mysteries; did you ever wonder, too? ......

1) What SONG did Edward sing softly to himself while lying in the grass as Bella examined Edward's sparkling arm and hand in Twilight?  Share with Everyone the title(s) of the romantic song(s) you think Edward sang and/or those few, important lines Edward sang! If you believe the song was in another language, please say what language too! ....Our Edward appreciated music of all types; and, other cultures too, I would bet!

2) Did Edward sing because he realized Bella loved him, or for courage and self-control, or to woo Bella?

For example, here are some of my possible choices for "Edward's song":

Earth Angel by The Penguins (1950's) ...."Earth Angel, Earth Angel, will you be mine? My darling dear, love you for all time! I'm just a fool...a fool in love with you!"

One by The BeeGees; But For The Grace of God  by Keith Urban;

I Knew I Loved You  &  Truly, Madly, Deeply  both by Savage Garden;

Fascination by Kem;  I Wanna Be Loved by You by Ricky Lynn Gregg;

Every Beat of My Heart by Gladys Knight and The Pips; Send Me an Angel by The Scorpions

Try A Little Tenderness by Otis Redding; Come and Get Your Love by Redbone

Although we may never know the exact answer until Stephenie Meyer updates us, perhaps we can have fun with this! :-D
