Does anyone know why this is a vampire story with no vampire teeth?  There isn't one scene in the movie where we see anyone drinking anyone's blood, which is almost understandable if you want to make the movie PG-13, probably, but there isn't even anyone showing teeth!  I don't recall that being mentioned anywhere in the book.  I mean, Edward is supposed to crave Bella's blood, but even in the first movie, he doesn't turn away and hide fangs.  The "bad" vampires - still no fangs.  Before drinking that guy on the boat in the first movie - no fangs.  The Volturi - no fangs.  Why?  I mean, how  would they break through the skin deep enough to find the vain if their teeth are not sharp?  Or are we suppose to use our imaginations?  And if you know why, do you know the significance?  Is there any meaning to it?  What is Stephanie trying to tell us?  By the way, I have a clean copy of Eclipse in FLV format if anyone wants it.  I don't know how to burn it into DVD format though, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it...

Hi:
May I have a copy, please?!
Thank you.
I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to post such things on websites. Send me your E-mail address to elise33@gmail.com I'll see what I can do. I'm pretty sure that uploading it here would be some bad copyright/franchise/ownership problem I don't want...

I WOULD LOVE A COPY - PLEASE. THANKS SO MUCH.
Guys, I tried sending it through E-mail but even zipped the file is 370 MB. It exceeds the size allowed by a personal E-mail account, even Gmail. Not sure what else I can do, unless we all pick a time, I post it for a short time, and then delete it in 10 minutes or something. If anyone has a better idea, let me know.
As an option, you should check out using uTorrent - see their FAQ here

Though I have not, other friends of mine have used this for passing around very large files with no pain involved. There is a "set-up" process, of course ... but like I said, I haven't tried it myself.

A further option is just to wait for the formal Eclipse copy which should be out soon, early Dec in the States / unsure of other Release Dates.

Peace -

d.

yeah - now that you mention it - hadn't noticed that but fangs or no, doesn't diminish from the story at all .. for me - fangs would be just a gross reminder of True Blood - you'll note that none of the movies move to show any real amount of blood at all - even when James has Bella cornered, the only blood we see is his bite on her arm. And in New Moon, Bella gets more blood on her from paper cuts and motorcycle head trauma than any vamp-biting. LoL Has to be because of the PG-13 Rating.

But doesn't matter - for me, the story is not about being grossed out with blood - there's too much fun watching the characters interact than to be sidetracked. Even the Eclipse fight scenes show only vamp heads being shattered and we never get to see Felix's handiwork on Bree.
Yeah, well I guess its a compliment to the movie that I've been watching them all for over year now and I just noticed this. After all, it is a vampire movie with no blood drinking... All I can say is, the human race is lucky that no one ever turned me into one, because I can't promise I would be as "vegetarian" as the Cullens. :-) You are right, it doesn't diminish from the story, although I think it makes it seem more pure then it should be (Bella didn't exactly join a peace colony.) I was just thinking that Ms. Meyer may have a deeper reason for this omission instead of the rating issue.

I'm having my remainder of midterms for the week today... Give me a day, I'll try using it. As for the hard copy - I promised myself that I will not buy the movies until the entire series is out. I want a series copy, with all the cut scenes, so I'll be waiting to buy them all for probably three years.
