I am both vampire, and human, and part shadow.(don't ask!) The shadow, keeps the vampire half from taking over the other half, and the human part from getting to weak, or die. (pretty cool or what!)

Hello. I am Daidalos.

All of you may call me D. though.

I joined this group, since I was asked recently what I am. So I thought I would just post here. And answer that for everyone for all time. So here goes.

As I already have said I am Daidalos. I was at one time a human in service to the Emperor in Gaul. Now though, I am a vampire.

I am of a kind which humans have named, or call Nosferatu.

As I was recently explaining to another, like all vampires we bring certain things about ourselves with us, into our new lives. Certain things which are intensified.

Well, the things those of us called Nosferatu, bring with us, which are intensified are not nice, or pleasant, and in most ways are not really all that beneficial to us either. At least not in my case.

I myself, as do many of us, predate the Volturi in the books. We tend to be shy, for good reason, and tend to shun the company of others, both human and non human. I tend to be very territorial. And while I do not often call others "friend" in those cases where I do, I tend to be very loyal, almost to the point of being obsessive, to those I call friend.

I came here, after reading the twilight book, I found one laying in the trash one night while hunting. Once here, I met others who encouraged me to try the vegan lifestyle. I have tried the Vegan lifestyle, and it didn't work all so well for me. So I have recently gone back to the old ways.

I hope that answers some questions some have had. If not they may ask me themselves. I do not guarantee that they will get an answer or one that they will like though....
