Well if you haven't seen the last episode Elena finds out that Stefan and Damon were vampires and gets scared of Stefan and Damon. She tells Stefan to stay away fro her and he tells her didn't want it to end this way. Then she goes back to him and demands answers at the same time Damon is stuck inside with Vickie and they party. He then kills her and she is almost changed into a vampire. Damon then saves Stefan after he is shot and Vickie completes her transformation after drinking blood. Stefan goes to Elena house and tells her the news. She then promises to keep his secret but then tells him that she can't go out with him.
