in my opinion edward is more patient than jacob..he is also more carefull and he controls himself much better than jacob does...another difference between them i think is that edward loves bella in a special way..jacob loves her too but his love for bella is human..the feeling is human even if he is a werewolf..edward loves bella in a way that it's beyond humanity...in a way that can't be explained in words..in a way that nobody else ever did or will do...they don't have much similarities between them...it's just one that in my opinion it's the most important similarity:both,edward and jacob,are willing to die to protect bella...
