Thank you Sky!!
Yes, Bella's lullaby remix is fabulous... weird, but fabulous. I may even go out and buy the deluxe 17 track CD... but it hasn't got Let Me Sign on it, which I love!xxx

couldnt have said it better, lucy! Amazing!!!. the twilight soundtrack was amazing, unlike other soundtracks for other movies, you would like 1 or 2 songs and thats it...

If you want a Trivia about Bella's Lullaby as I found it in Catherine Hardwicke Director Notebook : In fact, Carter Burwell wrote this song a long time ago for the woman he loved and who had left him. His heart torn & yet still totally alight for his love inspired him this melody.

First Time I saw you, Edward, I had the fever,
Everyday, we're going all the way into Twilight."

The soundtrack is well done, and help deepen the experience of the movie. A movie's soundtrack can, especially for musicians, make or break a movie. It can help the movie viewer see larger and more subtle concepts in the movie, or it can actually compete with the movie, becoming a distraction..

A great example of this is Trevor Jones' (with Randy Edelman) "Last of the Mohicans," where the clash of the two cultures (European and Native American) is exapanded by the soundtrack's wedding of Celtic, Early American and traditional Native drumming. Actually, Trevor Jones has done other fine work: "Pans Labyrinthe" was exquisite, as well.

Of course, James Horner's work is some of my favorite. I cannot listen to the "Glory" soundtrack without sobbing, even after all of these years. There are so many of his that are great. "Aliens"--the music amped up the tension so much, I could hardly breathe. "Apollo 13" is also very integral to the story.

Danny Elfman is another evocative composer. His "Planet of the Apes" is so powerful, it nears wagnerian. He's done much of Tim Burton's soundtracks: "Sleepy Hollow," "Night Before Christmas," etc. "Batman" was very dark, but lovely. I love his "Hellboy II" work. Elfman vividly evokes power and weakness, and shifts in power between characters, in a movie.

On the other hand, John Williams ("Schindler's List," "Indiana Jones"), has evolved such that his work is actually distracting. It's like "Here's Schindler's List and Here's John Williams Soundtrack." It isn't so much a part of the movie, but it competes with the movie.

Omg I love the Soundtrack, although it is missing some songs from the movie, like the 15 Step by Radiohead! Anyways I love the Flightless Bird (American Mouth) by Iron and Whine, Decode by Paramore, Eyes on Fire, Rob Pattison's song! Super Massive Black H*** by Muse, and of course Bella's lullaby!
