Clarissa- I've cried hearing this poem bcuz it reminded me of my Uncle Eric who passed away July 6th 2010 i miss him lot's this poem is called "A Million Tears"


A million prayers would not bring you back, I know because I've tried.
Neither would a million tears, I know because I've cried.

"Im alright,Im ok" By Shaun Ruiz-A poem I wrote for my 5yr old Nephew,Seth, who drowned this past June

My nephew was amazing.He never used to cry.Which was unusual for a 5yr old. Everytime her would fall or get hurt,he would just get up,brush himself off and say "I'm alright,I'm ok." Also,there was something he would do that we called "Googly eyes," where he would smile and bat his eyes.This Christmas was our first without him.But we take comfort in knowing that he is up there with Jesus, celebrating His birthday with Him.

 

Tearfully, we watched you

As you slowly slipped away

Although it hurt to see you go

We could not make you stay

A golden heart stopped beating

A joyful smile at rest

God broke our hearts to prove

He only takes the best

You brightened up the darkest day

When you flashed those “googly eyes"

It put a smile on our face

When it hurt too much to cry

Now, when we see your picture

You look back at us and say

“Don’t cry I’m here with Jesus

I’m alright, I’m okay”

Hey guyz this isn't actually a poem, but I thought I could share with you guys a song that I have written. I dream to be a singer and songwriter when I'm older =) so yeah here it is:
