Why does Rob make our blood boil?

Yes, "too young for what?" is a good reply. I'll be honest, Rob is not my favorite of the Twilight men, Carlisle is, but I am fully cognizant of why he would be a favorite of anyone with eyes.
Let us be logical for a moment, okay?
1. He is absolutely stunning physically.
2. He is an excellent actor for his age.
3. He is a gifted musician.
4. He has a beautiful smile which he uses all the time.
5. I have never heard of him being nasty to anyone
6. He has the advantage of not being someone you have to pick up after or clean for.
7. He plays a character who is totally devoted to his love and has no problem showing it.
8. He does a very nice smolder.
Indeed, what is not to love? He is admirable. Any sane person would feel something for such a person. We will therefor assume you are sane. Rest assured, you are not alone in this. Though the media and anyone else who has an opinion spouts off about how 12 year old girls are the only ones who go crazy for Twilight and its adorable men, I haven't been twelve since 1960, I have a major crush on Carlisle and I don't give a wet slap who knows it. My son (a year older than Rob) calls me the world's oldest fangirl and I am happy with that.

I am 32, I think baout him at work, at home, even have had dreams of him. He is on my laptop at home, my computer at work, in my car, I have my 2 autographed pics of him hanging in my room, my Boyfriend cant stand it!! (personally I think he is jealous), he just doesnt understand why a 32 yr old, would want him..WELL HELLO>>>>>it's Rob!! How could u not want him!! I love that man..I like how he seems so humble, shy, honest! Hilarious..and I think he is a great actor!! I just plain out love him!!

Mary, You could stop with the #1 answer and that would be enough! But yes, all your reasons are correct. I have one more to add, 9. His humility. Here is an example of "thats So Rob" -

While filming Twilight in Portland, a woman who owns a shop nearby was watching the filming. Here is her quote:
“I saw this tall, good looking kid in all the shots and I finally asked him if he was the star. His reply was ‘That’s what they tell me, but I doubt it’.”
That’s why we love Rob , his humility!

Well, there's 10 of us at work who feel the same way I do, and we're all over 40 (several over 50, too!!). As I like to say, "If you're female and you're breathing, how can you not be affected by his looks?"

I like Carlisle, too. Peter is so funny, I love following his twitter and interviews. You can tell he's really down to earth and cares about his fans. He's not so bad to look at, either!!!

Yep, we all seem to have good eyesight and Anything that brings forth love is good. Keep on keepin' on. If admiring someone admirable is a bad thing then there is more wrong here than age difference.

Well, finally, some pearls of wisdom Mary, I thought I was kinda alone in this one. Im 32 and completely in love with Robert, and yes I agree, age has nothing 2 do with it. I work at a university and a share my pics with my students, we share news, etc. The funny part is im the 1 they go to for updates and new pics. And Mary, the list u mention, could go on and on, I mean maybe we could start a list of why shouldnt we...... wait i cant think of a reason.

Hi Mary said it all!!!!
I am 31 and and been with my partner for 16 years totally devoted family of four great and beautiful kids, not there is anything missing from my life but more added. This infatuation i have with Rob takes me back like i am 15yrs old the excitement when i see a magazine with his face on the cover on Tv. I must say my partner does not understand what is goin on but its like a spark has reignited inside of me, don't get me wrong I am happy with my life. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting more!!! at least i haven't screamed out Rob's name in the bedroom or anything like that Ha Ha. But i think every1, one time or another has had to deal with a strangled love that we yearned for and could never have, but i have my imaginative mind and i am happy with that. I hope that was not too full on it's just good to talk with other women my age and lay everything out on the table . Call me crazy may be I am (crazy in Love/Lust with Rob Pattison):-) Dee

As I said, he is lovable and it is sane to love someone lovable. The more love we can add to this world the better off we will ALL be.

Hmpff. I am 61 and I have a hopeless crush on Carlisle( a fictional character) and as I said I don't give wet slap who knows it. It is very nice to talk to honest women. (Let me know how the picture came out for your walls.)

I totally agree with you Mary this world does need love!!!!!! It's great to meet other people with the same intensity and feelings of which i have for twilight and Rob, as my family are not passionate about it like me. And thanx for callin me sane. I was starting to wonder......... Nah only joking ha ha :-) Dee

I am 36 But I would hang a poster of Rob on my bedroom ceiling if I could get by with it, But my husband would kill me!!!!!!!

Me Too 36 with 2 children!!!! So I keep my pictures of him in a backpack that I carry to work. I also get my daughter to put up posters of Rob in her room. My cousin and I are going to attend a Twi-Tour next year, just hope Rob will be attending them then.
