Twilight is definitely better. Vampire Diaries is good though. Mostly because of Damon. He is a HOT bad Vamp.

i like both!!!!
i like twilight cuz of the werewolfs. and i like the vampire diaries cuz damon is the sexy bad vamp that no one can resist!!!!!!!

I think its actually kind of hard to compare the two. TwiVamps are unlike any others. Stephenie Meyer really created her own unique mythical world with the Twilight series I mean the sparkling, topaz eyes, no sleeping. So Twilight kind of has to stand alone in my opinion. But The Vampire Diaries is more traditonal. They have to be invited in, they cant go out during the day--all that good stuff. So I think could compare Vamp Diaries to every other vamp story and in that case, it is awesome. Damon is the perfect villian and the historical and witch tie-ins are awesome, its an interesting story. I'm hooked on both.

I don't think one is any better than the other. There are too many simularities in both series. i think we can enjoy them both equally.

Which are we talking about here, the books or the TV series/movies? In regards to the books, Vampire Diaries are not as romantic, but have more drama/action and mystery than Twilight. Both hold your attention, but in different ways. I prefer Twilight over Vampire Diaries. Twilight is an easier read, whereas Vampire can be difficult to follow at times due to the twists and turns in the story. As to the vids, unless you record the tv shows, you can't watch them over and over again to get your fix like you can with the Twilight movies. Both series have great actors and actresses so both are easy to watch and enjoy. Only problem with Twilight is the long intervals between one part to the next (7months to a year) whereas with Vampire Diaries you can get your fix every week. =)

I love both !!!! they both great !! But you cant really compare the 2 they both so different from each other and I like them because of different reasons
