Hi everyone! My name is D’Alice Craig, Im 29 and I live in Bothell, Washington, its bout 30 miles north of Seattle and only a 2 hour drive to Vancouver Canada (wink wink) I have my own place and I work at an AT&T call center as a team manager (please no iphone bashing…lol) I go by Dee and online I try to use Shaneequa as my log in name, when its available.

November 2008 I came across Twilight when I was at the supermarket. I was on a vaca from work and I was looking for something to read, instead of video games and surfing the net. I decided to give it a try, I bought the 5.99 paperback version. I had seen some previews for the movie, saying that it was a “worldwide pop culture phenomenon” I was like, huh? I’m totally a pop culture girl, (but no so much with books) I had no idea the world I was about to enter into.

Hooked. 100% hooked, went out and bought the other 3 books before I even finished and then lent the first one to a friend (*remind me to come back to this ‘friend’) I barely ate or slept, when ever I would go somewhere I carried the book with me, as my friend and I said “I need to close to me” I was on the last part of Breaking Dawn before I even saw the movie or got online to check out the fan sites, I wanted to make sure of that.

My friend and I were HUGE Buffy and Angel fans, well her mostly Buffy and I was all about Angel. The only thing that we could not get over at first was the sparkle factor, but whatever, Stephanie Myer mentioned in an interview that she was not aware of any ‘rules’ for mythical creatures, its fiction, it can be whatever you want, and I dig that.

To make a long story long (lol) I have read the series twice, saw Twilight in the theater 4 times so I could use each movie stub as a book mark, I skipped back to New Moon and am almost done, taking notes on what I want to see in the movie and exactly how many times Edward is mentioned before they go to Italy (look for a blog post soon) I went to the midnight DVD release party at Borders, I have posters, calendars, pictures all over my cube at work, I’m a fan girl and proud of it! And now I’m here, a member of Twifans!

Ok back to the ‘friend’ She was a close friend for 5 years but we recently have gone our separate ways, it was a hard break up, filled with mean hurtful words and profanity, mostly coming from her side. Her mother even got involved and my friend was 31 years old! I had bought her the series as well as Alice’s choker for Christmas. We were both at fault…there is a whole lot more to the story, but I will not bore you with it.

Anyway she was really the only person I could “geek out” on Twilight with, so after we went our separate ways I had no one, but now I have you guys! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and thank you for being here on this site. TWILIGHT FOREVER!!!
yeah, i had one friend that loved twilight as well as me but she doesn't like it any more, i was in thetwilightsaga.com, when that happened, and the mexican sunset girls(and a boy) and me talked a lot in spanish (when i say 'a lot' it is a lot, we were in third place of group activity, with only 150members against some with 3586)but they erased us because we spoke spanish, so the creator founded this site and we restarted here, but we haven't been on our best activity thoogh
