Are you a fan of the movie? why or why not? How many times have you seen it?
Yes. My initial interest was sparked with Twilight: The movie. I became facinated and intriqued by the romance, the levels of intensity the actors brought to their characters, combined with the elements of action and suspense. Face it these are the ingredients necessary for a great vampire story. The series draws you in from the beginning and keeps your attention. Once you're hooked, it will leave you wanting more. You'll develop an interest inwhich you begin to track the characters to see what happens to them, particular to Edward and Bella. It's good and juicy!! Much like the characteristics of a vampire (mesmorizing and hypmotizing you right before the fangs go in. Then after the fangs, the series has the tendency to take possession of you. As in the nature of the Vampire, it will suck the life out of you bywhich you fall in love with it. You crave it. Thirst for it. Ultimately consumed by it. That's only if you're true in heart "Twihard". Between seeing Twilight at least 82 times, New Moon(40), and Eclipse(3); about 115 times I can truthfully say that I've seen these movies. I would like to think of myself as one of the rare Twilight fans in the sense that there aren't too many 40 year- old African-American women in the state of Mississippi who share a deep passion and commitment to such a body of work and the phenomenon that it has given birth to such as myself and No I do not meet the qualification to be a Twi-Mom. When I attend the Premieres, I scout the parameter to see if there are other Cougars like me present; but to none avail. I chuckle to myself for I still remain a rare commodity for these parts.
Team Edward or Team Jacob? and why?
Team Edward from the beginning and has never waivered. Why? Edward is protective of Bella. Although situations arise that may cast Edward in a not- so- good light, he puts forth all efforts to keep Bella ,his reason for existing, safe. And despite his heroic attempts to keep Bella safe, she is just prone to life-threatening situations. During the course of the existance, Edward and the rest of the Cullen Clan has faced many obstacles but his greatest obstacle is allowing himself to be convenced by Bella to change her into a vampire.
I've been one busy cougar. The week leading up to the premiere of Eclipse, our Rehab Department hosted our own Twilight Screening Party, where we had great food, folks, and lots of fun. The fireplace mantel was tastefully decorated with all books from the series including The Short second Life of Bree Tanner. We watched both Twilight and New Moon. I could say that the evening concluded with a Q & A session but questions and discussion is on-going for us. Each morning prior to treating our patients, we have, what we refer to as, a "Stand-Up" meeting. This is open discussion is to clarify any parts within the series that might be confusing to the reader.
