yes and no, things that changed that were unnecessary, like her comment about going to Jacksonville instead of Seattle...and the scene in the book after the baseball where they made the decision to go to Phoenix...they should have put that in there to make it make sense to the people who hadn't read the book...i.e. my husband. He was confused haha....I own it now so a few times
