The only thing I can say is yes to the spellings of those words that are pronounced the same but spelled slightly differently, and don't leave out the "the". Example: I'm going to University in the Fall" here in the States we'd say I'm going to the University ( probably also add which one ) in the Fall. It could be just me too as I come from a different generation.
