I was turned by Carlise when he was visiting nearby for a convention and a terrorist blew up my school. He changed my and some of my friends and I now live with the Cullens in Forks. I can stop one person from being able to use their power and I can help sway people's minds.

Yes and no. I've seen the movies many times and I own them, but they vary from the books and the books are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better.
