I was turned by Jasper, he is my good friend and I stop by to say Hello often, you see I was supposed to be part of a vampire army with Peter, Charlotte, and Jasper but Jasper knew I was reluctant to fight so he helped me escape.

Edward in the book, but in the movie he seems so horrible. So jacob in the movie. :-)
