Chapter 2:plans

I picked up the phone immediently & yelled at renesmee to go to her room, I regreted it as the words came out of my mouth. I never yelled at her before but she left as I told her to.

After just one ring someone picked up


"Carlisle?" I said in an anxious voice

"Yes bella? What's going on" he said in an urgent voice I immediently handed the phone to edward not knowing what to say.

I went & told jacob to go stay with renesmee in her room knowing she would cheer him up someway somehow.

"Carlisle we have a problem, are you still in forks ?"


I heard carlisle on the other line


"No edward , we're in conneticut what's going on?"

"Someone killed billy black"

"Ohhh,I undertsand the problem that is very sad but why the sudden urgency"

"Let me refraise my sentence one of us killed billy black & we must watch out for charlie"

I wondered why edward didn't just say vampire.


"Ohhh who shall I bring with me?"

"Alice,jasper,& emmett but if you have to bring them all"

"We'll be there in 1 day meet us at the old house."

"Okay we'll be there as soon as we can,give jacob my condolances goodbye edward"

"Bye...............dad"

At that moment edward ran to our room. I followed him,he was packing.

"Bella, start packing for renesmee"

He saw the pain in my eyes.

Billy was a good man, a man who desipte his dissaproval in my decison was there at my wedding,& watched me well basically grow up.


He automatically embraced me in his arms, trying to console me, he took my face in his hands until I had to look at him & pressed my lips to his same as always electricty ran through my vains, it still amazed me how even now in my frozen dead like state I reacted in the same way I would have before. No doubt if my heart could beat it would be frantic at this moment. After a minute I felt just a little better, & then he pulled his face away with a smirk.

"Sorry love,we got a job to do,you want your father to be safe don't you?"

"Of course"

"Then lets behave"

"Fine,I go call the airport & see what's the earliest----"

then a high pierced voice interupted me in the middle of my sentence

"Mom i'm packed"

Renesmee stood in the doorway, fully dressed with jacob still teary at her side.
I loved my daughter always one step ahead, & I loved it when she called me mom it sent a trill of happiness mixed with excitement down my spine.

"Ok then help dad finish"

I loved calling edward her father I don't know why I just do, & I guess he liked being called dad because despite the sad auroa he smiled my favorite crooked smile.

"Thanks but i'm done"

"Okay then get the car"

Jacob cut the conversation

"Do you mind if you guys drive the volvo & I drive the ferrari?"

Edward decided to answer him,

"Okay,that's fine"

"Great"

"Sure jacob that's no problem either"

I hated when edward answered unspoken questions,I mean i'd love to help jacob but I mean come on is it so hard to talk!
Edward wasn't looking at me.but I guess renesmee didn't feel like talking so she gently touched edward's arm. Her powers had grown in strength so now she could touch any body part & the person would see the image she wanted them to see. I guess she showed him the frustrated look on my face.

"Jake wanted to ride with nessie"

"Oh,where are we going to keep her charlie still can't see her"


"I didn't think about that good point,I guess we'll have someone watch her for the time we're in town."


"Sounds good,lets get out of here"



"Umm hold up"

Jacob said in a strangled voice.

"Yes jake?"

What could be the problem now?

"You guys should hunt. People would be creeped out by your creepy eyes"

I couldn't help but laugh, but he was right.
As I stared at edward his eyes were pitch black with bags under his eyes just like mine.

"What should we do edward?"

"Well since you didn't get a chance to get in contact with the airlines cause of the distractions & cause we're driving I guess we'll stop along the way"

"The sun?"

Jake reminded us.

"We should have no problem what with the scarves,hats,hoods,gloves,shades & lets not foget the dark dark tint I had installed on the volvo"

I was getting annoyed.


"Can we go now?"

"Yeah I think we should get a head start before the sun comes up"

& with that we we're on our way.
