Are you a fan of the movie? why or why not? How many times have you seen it?

Before I read the books, I felt the movie was pretty good. A person who has never read the books can get a basic idea of what it is all about from watching the movie and it also helps when you are reading to match the faces to the characters. However now that I have more knowledge of the book, I feel that it lacks a lot of important details and events that happened that would make it better. Despite this, I think the casting of the characters for the film was spot on. I could not imagine anyone one else who could portray Edward as Robert Pattinson did. Even though his personality is a bit eccentric, He brought such intensity as well as charm to the character that could make any girl or guy swoon. The same goes for the Cullen family. I thought everyone fit the physical and emotional characteristics that are described in the series. The only person I have disdain for is Kristen Stewart who plays Bella, the main character; I just feel that her acting is one- dimensional and could bring a bit more enthusiasm into the character. But overall I give the movie a B-.







Why?

Despite his charm and looks, I like Edward’s old fashioned values of love. He is also respectful, intelligent and witty. Also, the fact that he is loyal to only Bella and would go to great lengths to protect her from harm is admiring. He is basically Bella’s knight and shining armor, which is very rare to find now a days. He is also more mature than Jacob when it comes to Bella’s affections. Although Jacob and Edward are natural enemies, Edward is more reasonable than Jacob; willing to overlook their differences for Bella’s sake.

Team Edward or Team Jacob? and why?
