Are you a fan of the movie? why or why not? How many times have you seen it?

I was, but I wasn't a fan of individual parts of it. My favorite part of the book was left out, which is the meadow scene, it wouldn't have hardly any significance to a person who hasn't read the book, but in the movie, it was butchered.
Also the movie epically failed at forming Bella and Alice's relationship, Bella and Alice are best friends by the end of the book.
Edward and Bella's relationship actually building up was also a fail in the movie. They sort of play 20 questions for about a week straight in the book, to get to know each other better, and THEN they fall in love, in the movie it was there...sort of, but it was all dubbed over with music. I wasn't pleased with that a bit. But the movie is otherwise a wonderful representation of the book, and it is after all, an adaptation of the novel, so you really can't expect them to cram it all in.

I've seen it about 10 times now, enough to recite my favorite lines. =]
