Reg the house of night... I can recomend. I had a little trouble getting started on the first one: Marked, because I just finished the SAGA. And House of night is very different. The sequal is good to, but no 3 Choosen took the prize, I read the thing in one day.
I wouldn't say they are as good as the saga, but they are really good, I think you should go for it. I envy a day at home, how nice and good for you.
