Are you thirsty (black eyes), Ready for another human (red eyes), Or Satisfied (golden eyes)?
golden most times
Who were you turned by? If you are a vampire...
It was my birthday & I was on my way to spend the evening with my sister & family, hurrying down a small lane as it was overcast, worried that it would begin to rain & ruin my new dress - I had saved all month for the delicate velvet necklace that held my grandmother's pendant & my mother would be so disappointed if it was ruined.

I was close to the end of the lane when I felt the first splash of summer rain, not uncommon in our sleepy little town which always seemed to be the target of storms - darn - I was never going to make it home dry. I focused my gaze on the cobblestones avoiding the cracks & picked up my pace knowing that I would never be able to outrun to coming storm.

Suddenly there was a sudden blackness & it took me a moment to realise that in my urgency I had ran straight into another lost soul seeking to escape the storm. It felt surreal that the force of my collision did not unbalance them. I nearly bounced off the stranger, only saved from hitting the cobbles when he caught me as I began to fall.

I began to apologise profusely for not taking more notice where I was going but he said it was as much his fault. His voice captured my attention as it was so familiar. Did I know this man from somewhere? I had never been vague but I could not place his voice or face. Was he one of the many prospective suitors in recent months? My parents had decided that I was to marry before the following year & I had been attending endless functions chaperoned by my sister & husband. I had decided I would not be traded like cattle disgusted by the thought of being tied to a man I would not love.

I thanked him for his quick reflex as I never would have recovered my balance. "It was entirely my fault Victoria. I shouldn't have startled you. I should have been more careful!" his reply came as barely a whisper. His response shocked me into looking directly into his eyes, now only a few inches from my face as he still supported me, his arm resting on my waist. I realised he did in fact know me well enough to use my name. I could not look away from his gaze intensely focused on me & then my pendant. Surely I would have remembered this stunning man had we met before.

"I'm so sorry but do we know each other?" my breath had become ragged and I could not look away from his undivided attention, held between his hand barely touching my waist & his gorgeous face. "No...But we will. I knew your grandmother Violet." My grandmother? "My grandmother died when I was quite young & you’re only my age so you must be mistaken!" I replied with a shiver. The rain had getting heavier but I hadn't noticed until I felt the cold run down my spine.

"Of course" he replied. "I mean I knew of her. She was a stunning woman, and it's obvious that you have inherited Violet's looks, but now that I look at you up close I can see that you are truly exquisite" he said in smooth awe. I felt the heat rise instantly in my cheeks. "My goodness" he whispered as he leaned in closer, "I only wanted to wish you a happy 21st birthday. I didn't realise you would have this strong an effect on me".

I knew this was not right to be alone with a strange man unaccompanied but I couldn't move. As he leaned forward I thought he was going to kiss me - I wanted him to kiss me. There was a moment of uncertainty as he moved to my ear & I thought he was going to whisper something to me. Then I felt his lips flicker across the tender point under my ear & travel down my neck to the hollow above the red velvet choker. "Exquisite" I heard him murmur again barely over the rain as it bounced off the cobbles. "I know it's very selfish of me & I hope that you will forgive me but I cannot stand to lose you like Violet". His words made no sense at the time & I was in no fit state to even try to comprehend his meaning but I would. I felt a intense heat from his cool lips, & a moan escaped my lips as everything faded to black...
What book are you on? Or are you done with the series?
Reading Midnight Sun ... also pondering in my mind what will become of Renesemee and Jacob?
Are you a fan of the movie? why or why not? How many times have you seen it?
I enjoyed the movie as it did keep to the book themes fairly accurately.

The book is aways better than the movie version because you are given so much more information and the scenes you create in your mind are always the version you would want to see ... the movie doesn't always go that way.
Team Edward or Team Jacob? and why?
Team Cullen Boys (they're all georgous)

Hey there, sorry I have been MIA for so long. I normally only get on here while I am working, as I am on the computer all day, but work has been so busy lately. So I am sure I have missed a ton.
I LOVE Eyes on Fire too, definitely my fave from the first soundtrack, which I still need to get!! I have a couple songs I can listen to online, but I want the actual CD. I just got the New Moon soundtrack for Christmas and I love it, surprisingly! I think it is because it makes me think of all the scenes in the movie! I LOVED New Moon! I have seen it 3 times now and cannot wait to see it again!
I am counting down the days too! When I got Twilight on DVD, I watched it SO MUCH!! My husband complained a lot, lol.
I am SO excited for Eclipse!! I loved the book too! But Breaking Dawn is my favorite! I wish we could hear some kind of news on Breaking Dawn becoming a movie/or two!!

Keep in touch!! Not many of my friends are into Twilight like I am! Only 1 is really into it like me, and she lives in Florida:( But I will be visiting her the end of Feb. and we are going to have a full blown Tweekend, as she called it:)

you're welcome ^_^

it's ok, I don't really come on twifans as much as I used to anyways..

I loved New Moon! I mean seriously, I couldn't believe how awesome it was!! hehee... I'm gonna keep seeing it until it comes out on DVD, then I'll watch it even more lmao...

Me too ^.^ what is it?? like 6 months left?? can't wait...
My favourite book has to be breaking dawn, due to the amount of action in it and the fact that it has the point of view of a vampire, which is useful to me as I'm writing stories based on vampires.... lol

yep yep, same here..

wow your story on how you became a vampire is breathtaking! i admit, i'm jealous. i wrote a story on how i became a vampire, but couldn't fit it all in the profile information box (it said 'maximum of 4000 characters' haha) so i wrote it in the text box along with another story i wrote. feel free to read them and let me know what you think :)

Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars—points of light and reason… And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything...
