I was on my way to school when I found the next interview with Stephenie Meyer in a newspaper! I translated it for you guys, so ignore the grammar faults please ;) lol
Meyer: Specialist in difficult relationships
The worldwide success of the Twilight-saga (42 million sold copies) came as a surprise for Stephenie Meyer. It even makes the 35 year old writer, too busy to write sometimes.
But, during the… Continue

I am not being sued. No one has contacted me or my publisher to inform either of us that I'm being sued. I never had a roommate named Heidi. There is no professor in the BYU English department named Dr. Peter Benton (though there is a character on ER by that name). And most of all, I began writing Twilight exactly the way I've told people in countless interviews and events for the past six years: I had a cool dream, I wrote it down, writing… Continue

Ok i said in an earlier post thatt steph was accused of Plagarism by her former college roomate Heidi Stanton. It was all a hoax. People are getting out of hand trying to make up stories just to get attention. Here is an updated article from aceshowbiz.com:
"Report suggesting that the production of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" has come to a standstill due to a plagiarism lawsuit filed against author Stephenie Meyer was proven to be a false one. As soon as the production shut down…

The main event of the evening featured the auctioning of Meyer's unpublished epilogue Forever Dawn for $5,100 to Kate McCoy-Cummings. Carol Robilota and Donna Perinich, a principal and teacher from Temecula, California, who decided to drive to Arizona on a whim, both won an auctioned lunch with… Continue

About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, Stephenie Meyer was going to be in Tempe, AZ at an address I knew.
Second, there was a dress there that I wanted...and it wasn't going to be cheap.
And third, I was intently and tenaciously going to fight for it.

Photo of Shannon Hale & Stephenie Meyer showing the dress to the crowd.
I woke up so excited to be in the vicinity of Stephenie Meyer that day. I…

Enough said right? There are
$25 tickets still available at the
Project Book Babe event. Which is hard for me to comprehend. Stephenie Meyer rarely does appearances, she is not going to ANY conventions, and has no foreseeable book signing events in the future. If that is not enough incentive to get there then go for the…

Update from
StephenieMeyer.com:
I'm adding one more very special, one-of-a-kind item to my auction list for the Save the Book Babe event this Saturday. Hobo Skateboards has designed a beautiful The Host-themed board just for this fund raiser. Am I allowed to bid on this stuff? I'd better check.

I suppose I should mention that this is, in spite of the…

I am so excited about these items because I am going to the
ProjectBookBabe event. I keep hearing about ladies from some of the other sites fighting over the dress. They have no idea I will also be in the trenches and let's keep it that way! But I will really be digging in deep for lunch with Mrs. Meyer and the Forever Dawn! I will keep you updated via Twitter that day on the days events. So sign up for…

Blue October's new album comes out today, including "My Never" the gorgeous song Justin performed during the Breaking Dawn tour. It still makes me cry. (Other favorites of mine: "Been Down" and "Should Be Loved.")

At last! The conclusion to the Mortal Instruments series is out. Now I can FINALLY talk about what I know. I loved this one (Thanks again to…

No screaming fangirls. No saying "I LOVE YOU EDWARD!" in the background... just the song and how sad/lovely it is. Despite what it means in the book. Bah. XD Gosh, I love this whole album. I'm a solid Blue October fan now, that's for sure." says

It’s no secret that Stephenie Meyer had a loose inspiration for each of her books from classic literature.
- Twilight: Pride and Prejudice
- New Moon: Romeo and Juliet
- Eclipse: Wuthering Heights
- Breaking Dawn: The Merchant of Venice and A Midsummers Night Dream
Well now it seems that sales for Wuthering Heights are up to record highs in France, and booksellers are attributing the success to Stephenie Meyer.
“We have sold as many copies of…

Will Stephenie Meyer make a second appearance in New Moon? she had to be talked into appearing in the first one and she thought it would be cool and now is not so sure.
Too shy to go along with director Catherine Hardwicke's wish that she have a line, Meyer regrets doing it at all: "It was not my idea to do the cameo," she said in retrospect. "They talked me into it. They thought it would be, you know, cute for the fans because most of… Continue
