Enough said right? There are
$25 tickets still available at the
Project Book Babe event. Which is hard for me to comprehend. Stephenie Meyer rarely does appearances, she is not going to ANY conventions, and has no foreseeable book signing events in the future. If that is not enough incentive to get there then go for the…

Update from
StephenieMeyer.com:
I'm adding one more very special, one-of-a-kind item to my auction list for the Save the Book Babe event this Saturday. Hobo Skateboards has designed a beautiful The Host-themed board just for this fund raiser. Am I allowed to bid on this stuff? I'd better check.

I suppose I should mention that this is, in spite of the…

I am so excited about these items because I am going to the
ProjectBookBabe event. I keep hearing about ladies from some of the other sites fighting over the dress. They have no idea I will also be in the trenches and let's keep it that way! But I will really be digging in deep for lunch with Mrs. Meyer and the Forever Dawn! I will keep you updated via Twitter that day on the days events. So sign up for…

No screaming fangirls. No saying "I LOVE YOU EDWARD!" in the background... just the song and how sad/lovely it is. Despite what it means in the book. Bah. XD Gosh, I love this whole album. I'm a solid Blue October fan now, that's for sure." says

Not that I feel any vindication for Stephen King's
defaming words about our beloved Stephenie Meyer last month while drumming up attention for his new sales venture, BUT this does feel good!

Will Stephenie Meyer make a second appearance in New Moon? she had to be talked into appearing in the first one and she thought it would be cool and now is not so sure.
Too shy to go along with director Catherine Hardwicke's wish that she have a line, Meyer regrets doing it at all: "It was not my idea to do the cameo," she said in retrospect. "They talked me into it. They thought it would be, you know, cute for the fans because most of… Continue

This is why she is the storyteller I love. Stephenie Meyer has a candid day with reporter Robert Sullivan from
Vogue.com. The way she describes her own writing is exactly what I tell people when asked "why is she your favorite".
"I had always told myself stories my whole life and assumed that everyone does," Meyer says. "You know,… Continue

Oh Stephen, oh Stephen King you are so messing with the wrong bunch of girls! I couldn't read the whole article.
You don't know what I am talking about so I will go back in time. I was skimming through my email when I see one email entitled "Exclusive: Stephen King on J.K. Rowling, Stephenie Meyer". I got so excited that I clicked on it immediately without blinking. Obviously Stephen King is a huge success in the horror book genre, and…

Author Stephenie Meyer does not enjoy comparisons with JK Rowling, the creator of Harry Potter. Matt Sayles / AP
Night-time dreams rarely come true (thankfully, for most of us), although they can certainly shape our destiny. Just consider Stephenie Meyer. Five years ago, she was a bubbly if unassuming mother of three from Glendale, Arizona. One night in slumber land, however, her life changed forever.
It was a day like…

I really liked both of these articles that came out yesterday in the USA Today:
* Sellers basked in Stephenie Meyer's 'Twilight' in 2008
* New star authors made, old ones rediscovered in 2008
I love stats like those. And while I'm posting I thought I would add that…
