OK it's not Twilight, but nothing is except TWILIGHT. That said, I have found a 4 book series I really like. I'm 1/2 way done with the 3rd book so I feel pretty comfortable recommending it. In addition to vampires it also involves mages and other supernatural, but the heroine is a magically inclined human. It's much darker than Twilight and definitely an adult book.
