Catherine Hardwicke, director of Twilight (2008/I), the first movie in the Twilight Saga, was set to be the director of 'New Moon' as well. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, Hardwicke had to back out.
After months of speculation and rumors, director Chris Weitz and the novel's author, Stephenie Meyer, confirmed on her official website that Taylor Lautner would be…Continue

Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Ben takes the fingerprint of Abigail to be able to descent to the conservation room via the lift. When in the elevator, he removes his glove. He should have kept it to be able to call the lift again.

Entertainment Weekly interviewed New Moon costume designer Tish Monaghan. Tish talked about Edward’s suit to Jacob’s jorts.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Anyone who’s listened to the Twilight DVD commentary knows that Robert Pattinson wasn’t a fan of Edward’s pea coat.
TISH MONAGHAN: He wasn’t a fan of the pea coat. He wore it in virtually every scene, and I think maybe he just got tired of it. I’m guessing. [Laughs] He just wanted a more mature look. That was part of Edward’s Grade…Continue

“In the book, Harry Clearwater’s death, heart attack is mentioned as something that’s off screen, although it plays a crucial role in the structure of the books,” said Melissa. “Reading that it was Harry Clearwater’s heart attack it just gave me the idea of, why don’t we see this? Stephenie [Meyer] doesn’t specify what caused the heart attack, so I decided, well, you know, if could be caused by something startling him. It could be caused by fear.”
The Twilight Saga: New Moon has been in cinemas for almost a week. So, depending on your feelings towards sparkly vampires and extremely buff werewolves, you will either have seen it three times already (ZOMG RPattz!) or avoided it altogether. Either way, the fandemonium has subsided enough for us to look to the future. It's just seven months until Eclipse, the third instalment of Stephenie Meyer's popular book series, hits the big screen. RT…Continue

In the new interview they discuss how Kirsten landed the role of Lucy, and she gives what little Eclipse details that she could (but they are new details!) -
I hear you are a bit of a bookworm. Did you read the books before this all happened?

Yes, New Moon just came out in theaters, so we totally shouldn’t be talking about special features that will appear on the DVD and Blu-Ray releases yet. But thanks to director Chris Weitz, we are anyway. In an interview with MTV, Weitz revealed that not only will there be a commentary track from him, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, but we’ll also get at least twenty minutes of footage that didn’t make the final cut. This includes:
AJ chats to Robbie and Taytay with some Fire Questions (they were gonna be quickfire but they weren't very quick) and we get the guys to switch personalities and answer as the other person…
The next Twilight film may cater to a crowd slightly older than the screaming tweeners that helped make the franchise a box office smash. Series star Robert Pattinson has revealed that the follow-up to New Moon could receive an adult rating when it opens in theaters in June 2010.
Robert describes Eclipse — the third and final film of The Twilight Saga — as a “massively different movie” that could potentially be rated R due to…Continue
