2 Translations for Funny Eclipse Tent Scene Comic Strip
The copy editor in me wasn't satisfied with the translation provided in the original blog (posted March 23). So I sent this comic strip to 2 sources (one American, one Brazilian), who gave me the following 2 translations (both of which I find equally humorous):
Translation #1:
Jacob: ha ha, but I'm heating up your woman
Edward: But I know that you're not a blanket for her (you don't work as a blanket)
Jacob: *snif*
Edward: And you're not doing it right! You should turn into a wolf and be a fur coat!
Translation #2:
Jacob: haha, but I am keeping your wife warm
Edward: But I am sorry that I know that for her, you are just a blanket
Jacob: *Snif*
Jacob: *Snif*
Edward: And you don't even do it right! You should turn yourself into a wolf and a (mink) coat!
