30 Days of Twilight: Day 24 - Moment That Made You Cry

30 Days of Twilight: Day 24 - Moment That Made You Cry

Share a moment from the books or movies that made you tear up.

I'm going to go for the obvious and say the New Moon break-up scene.

I have never bawled so hard reading a book in my life! I had to put the book down and stop for a moment because my heart was breaking. I was literally saying, "No Edward! Don't do this! No Edward." You could feel the emptiness and hurt Bella felt, when she tried to follow him. Having her mourning marked by blank pages, except for the name of the month on them was a great effect. I had to call a friend and ask if Edward came back because I couldn't read anymore if he didn't. "Possibility" by Lykke Li was a perfect song choice for the scene in the movie. Very powerful, very emotional scene.

During the fight scene in breaking dawn part 2 when Seth dies. Just to see the life and light leave his eyes. It was so heart breaking and Leah and Jacob's reaction adds to that. I'm in tears every time clutching my dog because it's so painful to watch.

In *Twilight* I cried during the prom. In *New Moon* I cried when Edward left Bella. In *Eclipse* I cried when Edward ask Bella to marry him. In *Breaking Dawn pt.1* I cried during the wedding and when Edward thought he lost her. In *Breaking Dawn Pt.2* I cried the most. I cried when Bella and Renesmee was talking in the tent and they were crying, At the Battle when Carlisle and Jasper died, and The end. When Bella lets Edward read her mind and they show all those special moments with Edward and Bella through all the movies, also watching the credits at the end I Bawled like a baby! :( I have to say out of all the *Twilight saga* Book series. I cried reading, Bella leaving Edward a note instead of waiting on his plane, when she ran away from the airport to go meet up with James! In *New Moon* Edward leaving Bella and all the torment it caused her, and on the plane on the way back from Italy, Bella thinking about the relationship they have had. In *Eclipse* When Edward officially ask her to marry him, and after she kissed Jacob and crying so hard because she knew she was hurting Edward and Jacob. *Breaking Dawn* the book was such a roller coaster for me! I cried Happy tears during the wedding, Honeymoon, pregnancy, Birth, Transformation, and everything that happened with or because of Renesmee was happy and sad tears and the very end When Edward and Bella was in the cottage and Bella let him read her mind and they said Forever I cried Happy tears! *Breaking Dawn* the book is my Favorite out of all the books! and Very Emotional for me!  <3Twilight Forever<3  Ps: I started re-reading *Twilight* last week! I also have had 3 different *Twilight* Marathons this month. I'm thinking of having another one over Thanksgiving weekend! :) Kim, Thank you for this Amazing *Twilight* Remember Month! November will always be *Twilight* Anniversary month to Me! :)  <3TWILIGHT FOREVER<3

At the very end of Breaking Dawn 2.  Bella sharing her memories with Edward, then Alices vision, the book pages, and the credits.  Then realizing that this really was the end.  I will really miss not going every year.  At least this year the boxset came out and we have this 30 days, thanks Kim

The wedding scene in BD1.  The end of BD2 when she shows him her memories.  When Edward can hear the baby while Bella is pregnant.  Etc., etc., etc.  :)

Stephyluvsb&e - I started reading the Hunger Games Series, Divergent Series, Libbra Bray's Gemma Doyle series, and the Clockwork Prince series. None of these will compare to the Twilight series, naturally, but they do make a good distraction if you're looking for a good book.
Something I want to tell everyone - for a 'new' adventure, try listening to all of these books in audio book form. It's a different experience, and I think it's a much better experience than reading. I never listened to them before Twilight, and hearing the words said with emotion and different character voices is a whole new thing - you end up hearing things you never picked up in the books. Listen while you work, in the car, at home while cooking, exercising, whatever! My kids love it too! Most libraries have audio book for checkout, and some for download in MP3 form. It's really worth a try! I was never interested in audio books before Twilight, now I don't know what I'd do without it! Oh - one of series that I am listening to now - Zombie Apocalypse Series by Mark Tufo - it's different than what I normally listen to, but I am really liking it!

I agree with you all, break up scene at NM in the books and the end credits in BD2. Such an amazing journey it's been you guys, so unbelievable.

When Edward thought that he had lost the love of his life, and he fought like he!! to bring her back by biting her! And then of course at the end of Breaking Dawn 2 when they are in the meadow scene and she shows him through her mind how much she loves him, of my goodness, did I cry, and in fact the audience with me was crying, we were sharing tissues! And then of course the ending credits of the whole of the Twilight Saga! I love my Rob Pattinson! Wonderful actor!

@Patricia Harrison: I'm assuming you read the books as well? :-) I'm wondering if I didn't bother to cry 'cause I was like, oh sure she survives anyway, dude!! #thinking

First time I cried was in breaking dawn part 1 when Bella died and Jacob left to go outside then sat on the ground and cried then they showed Leah and Seth...Seth started to cry made me cry harder...another one that made me cry was when Bella and Jacob were saying goodbye to each other at the wedding...I also cried at the battle scene in breaking dawn 2 when the cullens and pack died

@Jeri White: That was a bit traumatic, yeah. Did she technically die then, before the venom kicked in? :-?
