After being caught up in the Twilight Saga by my loving friends, I became so obsessed that I planned a trip to Forks, WA for the four of us. I thought I could post some of my pictures (I took two visits over four months) to show everyone why they should make the trip out!

Here is the classic Forks sign. We screamed when we came upon this! We had a miserable 9 hour trip, thanks to some lousy directions, so seeing this sign was heaven for us! (Pooring rain and all!)

We stayed at the Town Motel, which was a bit creepy. It's near the end of the Forks Ave, but really cheap! We had a two bedroom suite, with a kitchen, for $60 a night. Beware though, the check in counter is surrounded by porcelain dolls and massive doilys.

Ah, yes, Dazzled by Twilight. Featured on Forks Ave, this store is utterly stunning! It has everything Twilight (even cardboard cut outs of your favorite vampire!) Stop in and talk to Annette, the store owner! She is the nicest lady ever. If you're lucky, you might even get on her Twilight Wall of Fame (we sure did!).

This is Sully's drive in! One of the first things you will see when coming into Forks. It's the home of the Bella Burger and Twilight Punch!

Did I mention that the Bella burger comes complete with Fangs?

Dr. Cullen's parking spot at the hospital!

The hospital sign, just because it says FORKS on it, makes it exciting.

Forks High School

And the beautiful sign! The High School recreated this for the Twilight film.

Bella's House, with a sign- just in case you had trouble locating it.

The Cullen's House... probably the biggest disappointment for the trip, I imagined it MUCH differently. It's actually an Inn too, so if you wanted to stay in it, go for it! They have a cardboard cut out of Edward in the window!

Esme regularly leaves notes for visitors.

Bella's truck, located at the Chamber of Commerce/Log Museum

The first time I went was in February, so they had a wreath still on the truck... haha. It's gone now!

Forks Outfitters: Mike/Bella's workplace :)

The 'Treaty Line' between Forks and La Push. It's much more official now, as you will see in the pictures from my second visit. One thing I would highly recommend for your visit: schedule a lot of time for La Push, it's breathtakingly beautiful.

A La Push sign, Woot!

A more enclosed side of the beach, near the harbour. It's not nearly as beautiful as was in person, the pictures don't do it justice!

There were so many logs there! If my trunk was big enough, I would have taken one home.

Jacob's school house in La Push.

More of the beach!

On the way out, we stopped at the store on the Treaty Line. They have this cute Twilight menu, and some one-of-a-kind twilight merch!

The theatre in Port Angeles shows Twilight year round... this is supposedly the theatre where Mike, Jacob, and Bella go on their awkward threesome adventure.

Bella Italia, home of Edward and Bella's first 'date'. They added mushroom ravioli after the books came out. It's right next to the theatre in P.A!

The Second Trip:

We stopped in La Push first this time, and it was SUNNY! Such a treat :)

Told you it was gorgeous!

I have this fascination with the wood there, it's so detailed!

We found Jacob's house! This was a great moment for me! Wheelchair ramp and all.

It says 'Black' above the garage :)

The new official treaty line!

A cute sign outside the pharmacy in Forks.

Esme's new message at the Cullen house.

The Thriftway (next to Forks Outfitters) has a cafe with Twilight drinks! Also, inside Thriftway, you can buy bags of Bella's Brew and Jacbo's Java coffee grinds.

Apparently, Dr. Cullen bought a motorcycle

Because vamps don't sleep, DUH!

Well, that's it! Make sure to stop in at the Police Station in Forks... all the cops will answer to Police Chief Swan and will allow you to take pictures with them! (Unfortunately, we didn't run into one!) If you have any questions, or are in need of tips, suggestions, or directions, feel free to email me (Rachel) at

Until next time!

The pics are so Forks --- raining, cold, somber-like weather. Still I would love to visit there! I heard many stories that the people are so friendly. La Push is an awesome place to visit too...breathtaking views as they say. I have yet to meet a true-blue Twilight fan who is a resident of Forks... anybody who knows one that is a member here? I want her own account from the time the book came out until the movie shown. :)

Hi Rachel,

Hope you're good! My name is Emily and I am a student doing some research on online communities and tourism.

I love Twilight and would love to go to Forks...

I was wondering if you would be interested in a short interview with me over instant messaging/chat at some point? It will be very informal and just to find out why you went to Forks, what you did etc.

Thanks for all your help! :)
