Comment by Stella on October 6, 2010 at 11:58pm: I think the main reason they chose her is because of her age.It would have been hard to put contacts on a toddler,they might damage the eyes or something.And the acting skills may not have been up to par.Toddler would not have been able to read (if they stay true to the book ;-) ),or talk as well as Reneesme.She is perfect.I think.
