Our fellow site Twilight Lexicon received today in their mail box a message from a twilight fan who hopes to make documentary on the Twilight experience and the premieres surrounding the final film!!!
Hi my name is Samantha McRoberts. I am a film and television production major at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I have been an intern at Summit Entertainment for the last school year and was able to work the Breaking Dawn – Part 1 premiere. Granted access to everything at the premiere, I decided that I wanted to create a documentary on the final film premiere and the fans who inspired the phenomenon.
Samantha McRoberts is hoping to raise money for her documentary on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 premiere in Los Angeles and in the UK as well as hearing from fans how they feel about the conclusion to their beloved saga...
REMEMBER TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS DOCUMENTARY SO THAT IT CAN BE FULLY FUNDED!
NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS!
DREAM: To create a documentary that will be a DVD extra on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 DVD.
LOGLINE: This documentary is about The Twilight Saga Fandom and the final film Premieres.
SYNOPSIS: The Twilight Saga is a cultural phenomenon. With over 30 million facebook fans, it is one of the most successful creations of this generation. This documentary is being directed and produced by a Summit Entertainment Intern, Samantha McRoberts. She is taking a look at theTwilight Saga Fandom. Hoping to interview fans from all over the world via Skype recording, going to Forks, WA, attending "Tent City," and attending the Los Angeles and UK Premieres. The documentary will also have exclusive and backstage footage of the Los Angeles and UK Premieres.
This documentary is made by a fan, about fans, and for fans.
GOAL: To create a documentary about the Twilight Saga films coming to a close, to hear the stories of Twilight Fans, and give backstage access to all Breaking Dawn – Part 2 Premiere events!
WHY DONATE: The reason why this is a great opportunity is because it has not been done before, it is the last chance that it can be done, and it can be done cheaply and effectively. All the Twilight DVDs have had a special feature about the making of the films. I think it would be great to give the fans one last gift: an inside look at the final premiere. Fans of any topic, always want to learn more about the topic they love and this documentary is a great way for the fans to learn just a few more secrets before their beloved series comes to a close.
