She was asked the following:
There has been a lot of talk regarding Adam Brody and Kirstin(kristen) Stewart… May you please clarify that for us? “Ah, Red Band Trailer. I think Diablo’s question was the only real mention of K-Stew. Is that really her nickname? I’ve been around the guy enough to know he’s never said a bad word about his co-stars, especially the ladies… not even to make a certain gf feel better about making out with such a beautiful girl when she was 14. Plus we watch Adventureland like every other week. She’s rad. He’s a sweetheart. The end.”

Adam’s original ‘statement’ was apparently taken out of context,

LA Times posted excerpts of Diablo Cody’s interview with guest Adam Brody on her internet talk show. One of the questions Diablo asked Adam was:
Do you enjoy being famous, or do you wish that you could just be an actor apart from all that, a la Kristen Stewart?
His response was:
“It’s only gotten worse, I’m sure, being a celebrity. At the same time, I don’t have a lot of patience for people who moan about it too much. Because there are many things you could do,”“It’s like, quit … you don’t need to be an actor, so it’s like if it’s that much of a problem … there’s the door.”

So what if people dont want to cash out on all the perks of being a celebrity that doesnt mean they shouldnt be actors and leave! he will NEVER know what Kristen has had to go through the last couple of years because he isnt as famous as her. I mean even Johnny Depp has complaind about papz and stuff like that are u going to tell him to quite aswell? no he wouldnt because aparantly its ok to pick on a 20 year old girl that gets followed my 20 odd guys most days and being shoved about at airports just for a f****** photo!!!!!! he is a d*** im sorry but he is!!!! if ur an actor just purely for all the stuff u can get then ur not going to get very far (i mean come on what exactly has he done? he was in the OC and thats about it right) but if ur an actor because that is what u love to do then u will go far because u have the passion and drive to do it. Kristen is already getting an Oscar buzz for Welcome To The Rileys. Any respect that i had for him went out the door when i heard him say that. he is a second rate washed up actor who feels the need to critisise other people to get noticed which is pretty pathetic!!! and im not just saying all of this because the story is related to Kristen and i love her im saying this because who is he to tell people what to do!!!! he doesnt understand and never will!!!!! i really do hate people like him!!!! when he has gone trough what Kristen and the rest of the cast have went through then he can comment!!!! untill then just dont even bother!!!!

I agree with Emma. Even if it wasnt directed at Kristen it really is a comment that makes no sense. So, what hes saying is if you dont like being stalked and harassed by the Papz, and screamed and yelled at by pre-pubescent Twilight fans or just want to be respected for your work then "theres the door"?

Why does someone need to enjoy basking in the famous glow? All that does is make celebs more and more full of themselves. I applaud people like Kristen, Rob and Taylor that take themselves out of it and dont always insist on hanging out at the latest greatest Hollywood hot spot a la Paris Hilton.
