Amanda Seyfriend Says She Is Annoyed With The Twilight Comparisons

The American actress – who made her film debut in Mean Girls – is best known for her roles in Mamma Mia!, Dear John and Jennifer’s Body.

She can next be seen in dark fantasy film Red Riding Hood – which is produced by Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Catherine Hardwicke, who previously worked on Twilight.

The 25-year-old actress is tired of being asked if the gothic film will make her into a star like Kristen Stewart.

“She’s [Kristen Stewart] uncomfortable with it, but also, it’s like, she’s only noticed for that and she’s been working for so long. There’s hype but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t just a little bit annoyed at the Twilight comparisons,” she told Marie Claire magazine.

The stunning star says she doesn’t worry about being in Kristen’s position. She hopes the film will rival the Twilight saga’s success, but if it does, it would be for “different” reasons.

if she is so annoyed with comparisons of the two movies. Then she should not have done that stupid red riding hood movie. It's the exact same as twilight. Plus kristen is not only known for twilight, i know she was doing other movies before twilight. And i thought her other movies are very good. I am not just into twilight i have seen kristen's other movies

personally i think its cathrine hardwicke's fault for all this drama cause she couldnt just have RRH be the way it was supposed to be in other words she could have kept the whole love triangle thing out along with the whole makeing out in the field scene but no she had to take some of the twilight ideas and try to force it into RRH and it obviously didnt work

I mean i would be annoyed too if i was her, actors, directors, producers, etc. don't want their movies to be compared to others. I haven't seen the movie but from the trailer it really does look a lot like twilight and she should blame Catherine because of the way she made the scenes look. I just didn't really like her comment on Kristen, aren't they like friends. I mean I know where she coming from saying that people only see her for being uncomfortable with the fame but she could have said she really isn't she's just gets shy and intimidated at times but we've also seen Kristen let herself loose

Too be honest. I was really looking forward to RRH. When it was over I was disappointed. I can see where she tried to do things similar but it didn't work. Twilight was just filmed a lot better. I felt like I was watching a movie on Lifetime.
