And the Winner of EW's Ultimate Sexy Beast Contest is....

We were all waiting with bated breath last night to find out who the winner of EW's Ultimate Sexy Beast tournament was, Edward Cullen or Damon Salvatore. Well turns out we're going to have to wait a little longer. The polls have closed but EW's, Michael Slezak, let us know via his twitter that the winner wouldn't be announced until August 26th on EW.com or you can pick up a copy of the magazine that week.

It was a very heated contest and according to EW 250,000 votes were cast & it was the closest match-up they've seen in the history of the Sexy Beast showdown. Click here to read the article & see the full bracket.

I don't know about you but I kind of feel jipped having to wait like this to find out the winner, especially after all the build up.

Yes, Ian & The Vampire Diaries is popular but it doesn't have any where near the fan base that the Twilight Saga/Edward Cullen has. I did read through some of the comments on EW's website page for the poll (there were over 3000 comments) & there were a LOT of haters voting to try & make sure that Twilight/Edward lost.

Damon is hot i will admit but he is just a one night stand compared to Edward i mean come on wat girl wouldnt want love , devotion and a bad ass vampire family to be apart .. all damon has is stefan a watered down version of edward ... no contest XP
